Nice little hostel! I booked a single room with a private bathroom, which almost feels like a hotel room. The location is ideal – only about 10 minutes on foot from the Bauhaus and close to Dessau main station. Many of the guests are students from Anhalt University. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are small events with free food or drinks on Fridays and Saturdays. The online service is also great! 👍

Amazing hostel with phenomenal service and facilities. Mattresses, Showers and Kitchen facilities are the best of any hostel in Germany. Staff are helpful and answer requests urgently. ||Bathrooms and bedrooms are impeccably clean. Great social vibe and perfect location just 8 minutes from Main Train Station and Supermarket.

From the moment that I arrived at this hostel, I was surprised by the enthusiastic welcome that I received. I was given a bed before check-in, my bed was amazingly comfortable, the room was clean and warm.Great showers and modern kitchen & Social area. The Hotel owners respond to request promptly via a WhatsApp group and the staff are amazing.Close to the HbF & Supermarket too. Bauhaus’s Museum is just around the corner too!Very secure lockers and room doors, really nice duvets etc…….. however it is the staff that make this place unforgettable. I liked it so much I extended multiple times!!!

I went to see my friend who is staying at this hostel and he was waxing lyrical about it being one of the best hostels he’s ever stayed in. Indeed, even I found the Hostel to be pretty amazing. Great facilities and great location.

The hostel is open again!I stayed in the women's dormitory, felt very comfortable and the room and bathrooms were very clean.In the evening we also had a barbecue with some other guests and played games together in the common room.The location is great, 5 minutes from the main train station and nature can also be reached quickly for beautiful hikes.Will definitely come back. Great people and a nice atmosphere!

Good hostel at good price. We had a double room without a bathroom and it was in no way inferior to a hotel room. The fact that it can be difficult to find staff in the hostel could lead to problems. But it didn't in our case.

A great hostel, just a few minutes walk from Dessau main station with a good price/performance ratio. Both the rooms and the showers are clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and the operators are very nice and accommodating. The perfect place for anyone who wants to explore the Bauhaus city of Dessau. The Bauhaus Museum and a large shopping center are right around the corner.

I was recently in Dessau for a conference and came across the property on Hostelworld and decided to give it a try.Apparently it reopened a while ago and I am glad that I made the booking. I booked for the private standard room which was spacious and I cleaned the fact that it was very clean, had a TV for me stream some movies in the evening and a working table.I met some cool folks at the hostel so we could explore the city later, the location was convenient for me and for the price I got all of the services of a premium hostel. Will definitely recommend to others travelling to Dessau, thanks for the easy check-in.

Great location right next to the Bauhaus Museum. Clean (except for the shower cubicle), practical common room.Unfortunately, someone opened my room door at 9 a.m. on Sunday to clean. Checkout is until 11! The bike garage is absolutely great! Very easy to reach, lots of space, bracket to lean on and connect!

We had 2 nights in a double room, it was super clean and comfortable. Showers, toilets, shared kitchen (really recommended for self-caterers) everything was just great.The breakfast we had before departure was simply perfect, plenty of options and a fair price. Thanks also to the Bar Walter. You are a really nice team, whether in the evening or for breakfast. My conclusion: A hostel for young and old in a very central location at a great price. Always happy.
