We were received by the owner. Nice friendly man. He showed us the room. It was clean. We also had a bathroom. The room is big enough for two people. The location is perfect. You can walk straight to the city wall and then stroll around the city. We walked an 8 km walk and saw just about everything. A surprisingly beautiful place on our route to Pirna where we will walk the Malerweg.

I regularly stayed at the guesthouse. A small and fine guesthouse in an excellent location with nothing to complain about. I was always greeted warmly and my concerns were dealt with immediately. I always enjoy coming here as a guest.

Four of us stayed in the guesthouse during the Merseburg Castle Festival. The location was absolutely central and you were in the middle of the action after just a few steps. We received a very friendly welcome at the guesthouse, the contact was generally very warm and we immediately felt at home. Everything you needed was available in the apartment. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and the kitchen also had everything to offer. Overall, very lovingly furnished, we would definitely like to come back

I've been in Merseburg for work for the second week now and have checked in here again. The reasons for this are literally obvious. It is a nice guesthouse, which is quiet and yet close to the center. The cathedral, the castle and many very good restaurants with a wide variety of tastes are within walking distance. The car is parked overnight in the guesthouse parking lot. The rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished with a small bathroom with shower. The operators are very friendly and ask if everything is OK or if anything is missing. This is very rare to find today. When I came home from work in the evening, I always had a smoke outside with the manager and had nice conversations, which is no longer a given these days. In the basement of the guesthouse there is a large and fully equipped kitchen, which you can use to make something to eat. That also knocked my socks off. In the hallway where registration is, there is a refrigerator hidden behind a curtain in a niche which is always filled with drinks. The sheet with the prices is on top and they are more than cheap. There is no comparison to a hotel, the guest is not ripped off here. Payment is made in the good old trusted cash register, which many people probably remember from the past. Should I be in Merseburg again for business or pleasure, I already know where I will set up camp. Update: Coffee is even ready early, the day can begin, what more could you want. I can only warmly recommend this guesthouse.

Check-in was hassle-free, just ring the bell and the owner was right there to show us to the room and show the spacious kitchen that everyone could use. The room serves the purpose very well and offers a very good price-performance ratio. Please note that the single room does not have a shower facility. Easily bookable via Booking.

A busy weekend that was very relaxing thanks to the friendly welcome and the furnishings of the house. Openness and very clean rooms, as well as the possibility of using the kitchen, made the stay a great short vacation. The question was always: Is everything OK? The next arrival is planned in this guesthouse.

A nice, small guesthouse in the old town of Merseburg near the castle and cathedral. The room was clean, tidy and comfortably furnished. There was a table, two chairs, a not-too-large TV and a wardrobe. The windows had external blinds as the room was on the ground floor and facing the street. I found the bathroom to be extremely small. You can only sit at an angle on the toilet and you should also think about your movements when showering, otherwise you'll end up with the faucet in the small of your back. Unfortunately there weren't enough options to dry the towels after showering. In the basement there is a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and seating where you can have breakfast and prepare food.On the ground floor there is a small refrigerator with drinks - water, spritzer, beer and sparkling wine. The prices are written on a piece of paper and you put the money down accordingly.Completely sufficient for 2-3 nights. We will stay here again when we are in Merseburg.
