It's sad when you don't reach anyone, our teenagers had to go on vacation. And when a health problem occurred upon arrival, no one could be reached, even after multiple attempts.

Firstly perfect location.Good breakfast.Friendly staff, except for the woman who was there on Sunday, who lacks some customer friendliness.The room was adequate, although I missed a cup or glass in the bathroom, mini fridge and coffee/tea could have been there as well.A bit noisy if you have drunk, noisy neighbors who were returning from going out.

Just terrible. Some of the staff are listless and unfriendly. The reception already gave you an idea of what to expect in the room.Very dirty, elevator broken, no toilet. At least we were given rooms on the 2nd floor instead of the 4th. The room itself was also very dirty. A lot of things were defective. The toilet seat was hanging by a thread, as was the shower door. The shower head was so calcified that showering was almost impossible. I tried it without a shower head. But there was pressure, then the water stopped draining, etc., etc. It's ok that a hotel wears out over time. You can't expect 5 stars and a large room for this price. But, cleanliness and repairs should be a given!This hotel is absolutely not recommended!

The hotel is currently under renovation, so things can only get better. The rooms are small, the beds are relatively short and the bathroom is very narrow. Some of the rooms were only superficially cleaned, as was the stairwell and the elevator was out of service. The WiFi was mediocre but free. Breakfast was skipped. Unfortunately, the staff was not very accommodating and easily overwhelmed - printing out an invoice was "challenging".

The staff was nice and helpful, both when leaving your suitcase and checking in. Unfortunately, the entrance area and reception are uninviting and very careless. The rooms are ok for one night as long as you don't look around closely and push away the cobwebs and mold. The bed itself was ok. The windows are so poorly insulated that I thought the party people were walking straight through the room. Conclusion: 1 night was ok, but not again and from that perspective it was too expensive

I've been staying in different hotels a lot over the last few years and visited around 20 hotels this year.I've never experienced anything like that before.The pictures do not show the original. The aging hotel looks completely different on site.That's not the worst thing.A very dubious employee at reception. I actually just wanted to leave but unfortunately I couldn't cancel anymore.There was an awful lot of noise at night and no one to take care of it.

We had already booked 10 months ago, so it wasn't a last minute booking for us, which might have made the whole thing a little better.One day before arrival we asked by phone (since check-in was from 2 p.m.) whether there was an option to drop off our suitcases beforehand, as we arrived in the morning and wanted to use the time in Cologne. We were informed that the hotel has a luggage room. What we weren't told was that this room is actually not monitored due to its location. No one would have noticed if the suitcases were swapped or simply taken away.When we were able to check in, we were informed that the four-bed room we had booked was in an adjoining building. Fourth floor - no elevator. Of course that was stupid too, but we just took it like that. When we got to our room we were more than disappointed. Several sockets that don't work, 2 windows that can't be closed because they are broken (and I think that this was known for sure). The floor was covered with clouds of dust, hair in the hairdryer and in the sink and sink. The water in the shower doesn't really get warm and there's hardly any pressure. We were also not informed when booking that the second double bed could only be reached via another very steep staircase. We then complained about this immediately. A lady from housekeeping then came and offered to roughly clean our room again - she also seemed overwhelmed and seemed very helpless to us. We called again to register. The gentleman at reception then asked us to have two double rooms that were apart from each other. But we didn't want this - we had booked something 10 months in advance and then something like this happened. What might be important is that we paid €200 for one night WITHOUT breakfast.The location is very central, hence the 4 stars. Overall, not recommended because of the other circumstances!

The two clowns behind the reception were very unfriendly. Not child friendly and wheelchair accessible. Were only 2 minutes. at the hotel . Switched on booking but only got half the money back as a voucher. This hotel is not recommended. Hilton hotel room was better.

Well placed and well placed.I certainly didn't have luck with a room close to the entrance, on the stairs. Several people tried to enter in the night (wrong room?) “Standard” door not soundproof at all. It seems clean, laundry ok but there is an “old smell”. Clean but old bathroom.

The Hotel does not match the photos at all. Everything is very shabby, heavily used, some areas even need to be renewed completely (doors, bathroom) and everything is much smaller than it appears on the pictures. The bathroom and shower (esp curtain) are really dirty, there is a lot of mold in the corners and the fittings are really disgusting. The inventory (fridge) does not close, the doors are broken and the walls are extremely thin. You can here every move from your neighbours and the stairwell. Room service was not there Daily and made the things up a little cearlessly. No cleaning! The breakfast was OK, but everything was pre-packed products (ham, cheese). The coffee machine is not serviced - another source of mold and bacteria, do not want to imagine how it looks inside!!! The staff was polite and friendly, but not really caring. The building itself is absolutely bottom-class and needs to be renovated in some areas and really cleaned well. What's very positive: The central location. Apart from that, quality and pricing does not match at all and so we don't reccomend booking this Hotel.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not recommended. Even when we checked in, we were definitely not welcome, we felt more like a nuisance. I don't know where the photos of the rooms came from. Dad's bed actually looked like this, and the furniture that came with it came with it More like from sperm waste. The edges of the seating furniture are dirty and dirty. The chair that goes with it is torn out at the top back. The shower tray is clogged. The only good thing was the clean towels. The employees were the crowning glory. Unfriendly, no greeting at any time. That Nobody will miss the hotel, except for carnival, perhaps.

In my opinion, the central location is the only advantage of the “hotel”The house is incredibly crooked and shabby, the carpets are old and dirty, the rooms were small and stuffy, the doors were stiff and didn't close properly, the sanitary facilities were impressive because of their damaged controls, which created a risk of injury from sharp-edged parts. There was a constant smell coming from the drain and consumables weren't replenished, so we had to share a toothbrush cup for four days despite having a cup dispenser. The elevator was tiny and bumped and rattled from floor to floor. The staff, and especially the staff at breakfast, were unfriendly and skillfully gave the impression that as a guest you were just an annoying inconvenience. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews of the hotel until later because everything we experienced had been criticized there for months and the owner has also been asserting for months that any deficiencies will be remedied immediately and the conditions will be remedied. But this obviously did not happen.

Rarely leave reviews but I will leave this as a warning to others. Only two redeeming features of this hotel are the location and price which was ok for Köln. However, not worth that price at all compared to other hotels i've stayed in in Germany.Room was dark and dingy, smelled bad, very noisy, doors didnt shut properly unless using the key on both sides. Same issue for the toilet and shower shared between 4 rooms. No lift. Only one set of towels in the shared bathroom so i took one - don't know what the other rooms will do but I wasnt about to get caught out at night when reception go home. Doors dont shut properly unless key is turned from both sides, inviting people to try slamming the doors to make them work and wake up the whole floor. No AC or glass of water to refill water bottle with.Room completely unrepresentative compared to pictures online - felt like a scam.
