A flophouse that urgently needs to be completely renovated. Hygiene and condition of the technical systems below the usual standard in Germany. Some of the furniture in the rooms looks like bulky waste. Anyone who has been to developing countries frequently will understand this. The few plus points: very friendly and helpful operators, low prices. And: Nothing is guaranteed to happen here, apart from a few craftsmen staying there partying loudly or watching TV.

One star just because I want to give a review. We booked a deluxe room and were very disappointed. The air conditioning was running at its last twitches, there was a trash can on the run-down desk to catch the condensation. There was a tangled mess of cables underneath of the table. The windows couldn't be opened properly. There was a strong smell in the room and the stairwell. The whole ambience had a flea market feel. The drain pipes were visible on the ceiling. Fire alarms didn't work because they weren't there. The whole building was A run down impression. The cleaning lady was visibly overwhelmed, we looked in vain for a hairdryer that other guests had taken with them beforehand. There was a whole heap of bird droppings on the window sill.

Clean rooms with air conditioning which was perfect for the hot nights. Bathroom was renovated and great. I had a room on the street and everything was quiet.Very good and nice service, there is a legga dinner every day. Breakfast has everything you need and the coffee is great!Cozy decor and atmosphere

Very nice hotel, rooms adequate to the price, but what I liked the most was the atmosphere in the bar, great family atmosphere, we sat there with friends, had a great evening, had a great dinner, got drunk as hell, and in the morning there was a very good breakfast waiting for us.

Price performance was good. Room okay. Lady of the house was very nice, always available and concerned about our well-being. Dogs were welcome. What more could you want?

never again ‼️I have never been offered such a double room that can be renovated. Demanding 60 euros for this is an absolute disgrace. Mold on the walls and ceiling, dirty and the last broken place. Cracks in the walls, tiles falling off. Blinds that are broken. I could go on with this list for a long time. That's not even worth €10 per person. Unbelievable!!

Many years ago the old Rogge were unclean and arrogant.At that time the post office was in an untidy room in the back.They didn't have a contract to clean Wölfi Rooge 45 years ago

Hotel Rogge or what I find more suitable...Landgasthof Rogge.Nice hosts and good spirits who take care of everything. Breakfast buffet suitable for the country inn. The rooms are clean and well equipped in their own style. If you expect more, you're in the wrong place here. We will be happy to come back. We liked everything.PS Our dog Penny was welcome

Simply underground, even the jungle camp seems more comfortable. Unfortunately, even 1 star is still too much and not at all appropriate for the price.Dirty access from the stairwell to the room. Half-torn curtain rods. Lots of cobwebs and dust on ceilings, walls, window niches, behind the beds etc., duvet in summer mode and therefore way too cold. Bedding stained, musty smell. The sockets weren't in order and the lights went out when you tried to charge your cell phone. Television reception left a lot to be desired, not even standard programs such as ARD, ZDF and WDR were available. Last but not least the bathroom, it looked like the Grinch was at home there. The crowning glory was the mirror cabinet, which was dusty and smeared with toothpaste residue and some undefined incrustations.

The room was terrible and in a dilapidated condition. The floor in the bathroom was so sticky that I could only walk on it with a towel. The last time I experienced a smell as bad as that of the bed linen was in the ashtray of my last visit to a smoking bar. I had to use the spare blanket as a pillow and since the smell had already spread to the sheet I had to spread some of my shampoo on it so that I didn't have to smell the smell when I fell asleep. I really don't have high expectations, but offering this room at this price is a disgrace. The next morning I actually wanted to take a shower, but it was so disgusting that I decided not to. So I wanted to at least wash my hair under the sink and let the water run a little so that it got warm. Then the water or drain smelled so bad that I had to wash my hair with the sparkling water bottle provided by the hotel. There is one star for the sparkling water bottle.It sounds like I made it up, but unfortunately it's the sad truth...

We spent one night here. The owners are nice people. Our room was nice and big. It had somewhat "mixed together" furniture, but at least 2 armchairs for 2 people with a small table and a desk with an extra armchair. This no longer exists everywhere. The bathroom was also big enough. Everything was clean. The bed (double bed for 2 people) was not that comfortable. When one turned, the other woke up from the shock. So order single beds! We got something to eat and drink in the evening and there was a very generous breakfast in the morning. Everything you would like to have was there.There were also free parking spaces at the house.I certainly wouldn't spend a vacation here, but it's definitely suitable for transit (we had an appointment in Lemgo).
