I was in Cologne for a few days on business and chose the hotel primarily because of its central location. The hotel has both advantages and disadvantages, which partly influenced the stay. As can be seen in the photo, during my visit there was a large construction site directly in front of the hotel, which made it difficult to find the entrance to the underground car park. The underground car park itself is extremely narrow, so caution is advised when parking here. If you are traveling with an SUV or minivan, you should look for alternative parking options.However, check-in was very pleasant and the staff was friendly. However, there is a small downside when it comes to accessibility: the elevator that leads to the rooms is only accessible via stairs, which is not ideal.Apart from the bathroom, the room seemed a bit old-fashioned and not particularly appealing. Still, it was very clean, which makes up for a lot. The bathroom, on the other hand, was modern and just as clean, which definitely stood out positively.The breakfast was OK, but the selection was rather small and nothing special. There is definitely room for improvement here, both in terms of quality and variety. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the beautifully designed terrace in the inner courtyard, which borders directly on the breakfast area.All in all, the hotel scores with its central location and good service. The price-performance ratio is okay, but there is definitely room for improvement.

We (2 adults) booked the hotel through Jochen Schweizer. Unfortunately, the parking garage is very, very narrow. It has 2 charging stations - but unfortunately it didn't fully charge throughout the day and night. This also involves additional fees of €20, which I found to be quite a lot. Parking space was also added.The room was spacious - clean and tidy. Great for 1 night. Except for the slant, as we had a room on the 5th floor.Service super friendlyBreakfast buffet had something for everyone and was ok.Staff at reception very friendly and helpful.Location: right next to the action - bars, clubs, restaurants, cafés all around the corner.Great connection to the tram.

Hotel with charm.My room was not barrier-free.If necessary, you should let us know in advance.Room a bit older.I had to repair the shower door seal first, the door wouldn't close.The previous person's used chewing gum was in the packed cup for brushing teeth.Reported this to reception in the morning and it was noted.Unfortunately, the windows are not soundproofed from the street, so there is entertainment at night.

It was our first time in the Flemish court and also in Cologne. The rooms are not overly large but functional and, above all, clean. The reception was friendly and the service at the breakfast buffet was also nice and helpful. We are happy to recommend the hotel.

Top service, friendly Personel starting from the reception. Location is amazing as it's close to everything. My single business room was clean, spacious enough for me, no carpet (Thank God) and quiet. I really loved it and will definitely be staying there whenever I'm in Köln.

It is very centrally located and the price is ok. But on two visits none of the televisions in the room worked (we were traveling in a group and had several rooms) and the last time none of the heaters worked... the staff always said the same thing. Completely astonished, as if they were hearing it for the first time. It's a shame because otherwise it's a nice, central hotel.

Prime Location, but the Bed... Not So Much!I recently stayed at this hotel during my visit to Cologne, and while the location was unbeatable, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag.Let's start with the positives—the location is truly one of the best in the city. Just steps away from major attractions and easy access to public transport, it made exploring Cologne a breeze. Whether you’re heading to the cathedral, nearby cafes, or shopping streets, you couldn’t ask for a better base. For that alone, I would give the hotel 5 stars without hesitation.Now for the downside: the bed was unfortunately a big letdown. Despite the room being clean and well-maintained, the bed was so uncomfortable that it really affected my sleep. After a long day of sightseeing, I was hoping for a cozy place to rest, but I found myself tossing and turning all night. This was a major drawback for me, especially since a good night's sleep is a top priority when I choose a hotel. 1 star for the bed, and it’s the reason why I sadly won’t be staying here again.The view from my room also left something to be desired. It wasn't the worst, but nothing particularly memorable either.In conclusion, this hotel excels in location and cleanliness, but the bed quality needs serious improvement. I truly wanted to love this place and even considered giving it another try, but unfortunately, the poor bed experience has taken it off my list for future visits to Cologne. However, if location is your top priority, this could still be a solid option for you.

The hotel is located in the Belgian Quarter, approx. 1.5 km from the cathedral and train station. The reception is modern and staffed 24 hours a day. The staff during the day is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the night service was a bit unfriendly that weekend and refused to sell drinks at the bar on the first evening, even though it was advertised to do so. After our complaint the next day, he was still unfriendly in the evening, but at least we got drinks. I can now judge the room based on what we had. Unfortunately very small as a double room. The bathroom is also very small. The wallpaper is already a bit worn and worn. They could certainly be redone, or at least deleted. The breakfast is very rich and, apart from the scrambled eggs, also good. In terms of color and taste, it had nothing to do with scrambled eggs. There are plenty of restaurants in the area around the hotel serving food from many different countries.

Stayed at the Flandrischer Hof from the 14/09 to 17/09. I was really happy with the stay. The room itself was comfortable, clean and had everything that I needed. It was spacious and the bed was actually comfortable. I have given the room a 4/5 star as the toilet wasn’t clean/the best.The staff at the hotel are really helpful and friendly. They are all warm, welcoming and on hand to help you. I did have a issue with the Wi-Fi (my phone playing up) and the lady at reception was able to help me and resolve it.Housekeeping is great. Would come back to fresh towels, room cleaned, bins emptied etc and they also brought anything that I needed.Also I arrived at the hotel at 12pm and was able to leave my bags at the hotel, whilst they got my room ready. I was able to check in at 2pm instead of 3pm. Again this was a nice gesture by the team.The hotel is close to many train stations, shops, food places etc. I would like to thank all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

Nice clean hotel in the middle of the Belgian Quarter.Everything is easy to reach.For a 3 star hotel the breakfast is okay.The parking garage is pure horror 🙄But I still recommend the hotel.

Very well located city hotel. Rooms very clean, nicely furnished, new bathroom👍, comfortable beds. The breakfast was also very extensive and tasty.And anyone who writes here about the noise from the street... should book a room in the country😉We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others!
