They push the tables instead of carrying them and do this for hours...despite the information that it's annoying, they keep pushing whatever the stuff holds

We were guests here from Friday to Sunday last week for a family celebration. The hotel welcomed us with the charm of bygone times and showed an obvious need for renovation. The broken laminate floor in the dining room was particularly noticeable. In some cases, makeshift tape was stuck over it or carpets were used to try to cover up the damage. The buffet in the morning and evening served to fill us up, but there was absolutely nothing special and no taste. The arugula salad impressed both evenings with its crunch of sand and earth. Unfortunately you couldn't get a cup of coffee in the evening because the coffee machine was broken. It was probably the dishwasher too, which would at least explain the dirty dishes.Apart from two female exceptions, the staff always seemed annoyed and served us in an unfriendly and rude manner. We also found it strange when on Saturday evening at 10.30 p.m. there was an energetic “Now!” payment of the entire bill was demanded even though everyone only left on Sunday.Due to this inferior overall performance, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. It's a shame, because it had potential given the location and the existing rooms.

Unfortunately, the furnishings in the rooms are getting old; it seems that hardly anything has been invested in the entire hotel. The mattresses have had their years and there doesn't seem to be a house craftsman either. It would go beyond the scope of this article to list all the shortcomings. The staff seems to be very overwhelmed but at least almost everyone is always friendly. Unfortunately, anyone looking for cold drinks will be disappointed. Overall, unfortunately, one has to say that there is a lot that needs to be improved. We definitely won't be coming back and won't recommend it either.

We had Hotel Blocksberg as a caterer for our wedding and were thrilled with the service. The food was great and the service was polite and nice. In addition, they voluntarily took on many other tasks that evening and thus kept our backs free. Many thanks to the team and continued success. A clear recommendation from us!

The hotel is in such a beautiful location, the room was large and equipped with a table and 2 armchairs, which was very comfortable for watching TV. We also liked the balcony. The beds were a bit too soft. The breakfast was ok. but could be better. And tea was only available upon order. And the menu should be reconsidered, because a lot of it was only gratinated. And the salad plate was unfortunately already prepared with oil and a lot of vinegar, which is not for everyone. The cook must have seasoned twice. If the hotel could do a few things better it would be very nice, especially the food. But otherwise we were satisfied.

Review for short break from July 11th to July 14thWe spent a short holiday from July 11th to July 14th in a double room with breakfast. Here are our experiences:**Positives:**- **Room:** The room was very clean and the housekeeping service was excellent.- **Service:** The reception and service staff were robust, friendly but helpful.**Potential for improvement:**- **Volume:** Unfortunately the room facing the street was very loud, which affected sleep.- **Beds:** The beds were too soft for our liking and offered little support.- **Bathroom:** The toilet bowl was very low, almost on the floor. The entrance to the shower was a bit high at around 20 cm high.- **Breakfast:** Unfortunately, the breakfast offer only included baked rolls, which was a bit disappointing.Overall our stay was pleasant, however there are some aspects that could be improved.
