All in all a solid hotel. Swimming pool has not been in use since recently and has not been reported to Booking. Interior is a bit dated but clean. Breakfast completely okay for the price.

Quiet, outdated “hotel”. Equipment in the 70s/80s style.Positive:- the city can be easily reached by car in 5 minutes. Great location 👍🏻- Delicious breakfast buffet, Mr. Zotzmann also regularly asks if there is anything else you would like.- comfortable double bed with good mattresses.- small terrace (with parasol)Negative:- Hotel is the wrong name. Pension is better.- unfortunately the kl. Garden pool in the photos from the website & Co. According to the owner, it has been out of use for years. You should read everything carefully before booking, the pool pictures haven't been updated for a long time...!- A sometimes quite talkative and unfortunately sometimes unfriendly landlord, who clearly shows that he has little interest in his hotel (the property is probably also for sale).We heard the “mistress of the house”, but she never showed herself or introduced herself personally.- As allergy sufferers (house dust, hay fever) we had problems with the clean but outdated rooms (carpet).- what we found to be quite presumptuous was an annoyed comment from the host that we (probably repeatedly) didn't cover the bread basket with the cotton napkin. ("not covered again!")Sorry, but that doesn't work at all.- the garden in front of the small. Terraces quite neglected and with tripping hazards- We found the breakfast time of 8-9 hours a bit tight, but in the end it was enough.- you can only smile about various other instructions in words and writing 😄BTW, he basically praises Hemmingway when you ask about a good restaurant. The brewery is also highly recommended. Mega delicious schnitzels and a very cozy, rustic atmosphere😊👍🏻Our conclusion:There are definitely more attractive alternatives in this price category! We wouldn't come back.

We stayed at the hotel with our dog on weekends for weeks. The service was great, very friendly. The breakfast buffet was really great, everything was there and if you ran out of anything it was filled up immediately. We were given a lot of tips, especially where I could go for a walk with the dog, really great!We were more than satisfied. Thanks for everything 👍🏻☺️

Hosts are very nice persons, they were super attentive and the breakfast buffet was decent. My bed was very comfortable, I slept very well. Water pressure is good, you have to wait a little for the hot water but then its a very nice, hot shower. I really enjoyed my stays (stayed here 3 times 8 nights) and Rüdi is an exceptional host who always helped me with my needs. I am very grateful and I wish them the best. Highly recommended.

Simple clean hotel with very friendly and helpful owner. We were there with 7 motorcycles on the first weekend in June and felt very comfortable. A moped no longer wanted to start after checking in for the planned exit. The host immediately got a charger and hooked up the moped. The unlucky person was able to take the lake tour as a pillion passenger. But after the hearty and delicious breakfast the next morning at 10 a.m. it turned out that the battery was flat... and the ADAC couldn't send a truck for the pickup service until around 2 p.m., our brother immediately got the key to his vacated room and was able to wait there free of charge for the tow truck.That was a really great service. Thank you very much again for everything.We would love to come back.Greetings from the V2 Rider Rheinland MF

Very friendly and helpful landlord. He gave us lots of great tips for our bike tours. We slept well. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and plentiful.The house and the rooms are not super new, but they are clean and everything is in good condition. Price-performance absolutely justified.

Hotel in a good location with parking spaces. Good price for bed and breakfast. My room was just for one person with a small bed and a bathroom in the basement with a view of the cars parked in the parking lot.Not adapted for disabled people

My husband was there in May last year when I was in rehab. Mr. Zotzmann was incredibly nice and accommodating, we have never experienced anything like that before. He gave my husband the best room, even gave him breakfast and was so incredibly friendly and understanding, which made a lasting impression on us. He is interested in his guests and wants them to feel comfortable - which he has definitely achieved! The review comes a little late due to my illness, but better late than never :) We hope Mr. Zotzmann is doing well and can only recommend this small, family hotel to everyone. Everything is clean, the breakfast was excellent and it is very cozy there. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. Thank you for everything!
