So the hotel can be rated with 3 stars, some things need to be renewed in the rooms and a minibar simply has to be available, there is no control in the swimming pool, WiFi under the bedside table, the toilet is much too deep, different rooms, one with a box spring bed and one with Beds that are way too deep, the mattresses were saggy, the parking spaces take some getting used to, you should be able to drive here, the staff is friendly and everything was clean

A pearl in the Sauerland! Incredibly romantic area! The location on the mountain overlooking the lake is incredible.I was able to experience the whole spectacle in autumn!!The hotel is really full of charm, lovely ambience and great service!! Here you get a real hotel experience!!! The art of the hotel industry is a learned profession!This service, this dedication to detail and also to the guest can no longer be found in today's profit-oriented hotel world! A family atmosphere is experienced here by the workforce. Of course the guest feels this and also feels good!!Insanely good food!! Great chef and great staff! This is only possible if the hotel management also exemplifies this feeling that the guest is king!!Always happy when I'm in the area!!Great hotel! Keep it up!!👍

Very cozy and clean. The staff attentive and friendly. Overall, a first-class service that leaves nothing to be desired for me. Vegans are also catered for in the kitchen (which is still not a given these days), and dishes are prepared individually as required.The sauna and pool aren't particularly big, but it was enough. If the sauna is full, you can use the steam bath.The location is very nice, from here you can walk to the castle in just a few minutes and can follow various hiking trails to the Edersee and the Edertalsperre.We would come back :)

A nice hotel, easily accessible, parking available, nicely located and nicely furnished. We were warmly welcomed. Nice room. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and excellent dinner.

Very good, professional and warm-hearted service that responds to the guests' wishes, always has a funny saying ready or helps with choosing a destination.The food is super delicious!Dogs are welcome in the dining room.The rooms are clean and spacious.Absolutely recommended!

It was a first class family vacation for a 93 year old mother with her 7 adult children. Hiking trails to the pier and the castle were completed, and it was really nice to take the Stern over the Edersee🍀🫶🙏💪

200€ for an overnight stay for 2 people, very expensive and above all without any special features.E.g. no air conditioning for a 4 star hotel. There were huge disgusting spots in front of the room exit where someone had vomited.No minibar, no socket next to the bed, etc.Dinner was good (buffet). 35€ p/p.Breakfast very rich.There are many alternative rooms available at Edersee for very little money. Only Dr. Google questions 😄.

A very nice weekend at the Hotel Roggenland!!🤗🤗 The room was nicely furnished and clean!! The service was friendly and attentive!! There is a beauty area with an indoor pool and sauna area!! The breakfast was offered as a buffet and was very rich and really tasty 😋 😋!! But the best thing for me is the location of the hotel!! The proximity to the Edersee and the beautiful Kellerwald is simply wonderful!!😍😍😍

Nice central hotel in Waldeck.The rooms were nice, the bathrooms were modernized and the balcony rooms had a nice view of the countryside.The evening and breakfast buffet was perfect, especially for us as a large family, and everyone enjoyed it.There are bowling alleys, sauna and pool area and plenty of parking spaces.We would come back at any time and can only recommend it to everyone.It only takes about 20 minutes to get to Edersee with the Geckobahn and it leaves a short distance from the hotel.The castle is also easily accessible on foot.

We are the H. + E family. Hoßfeld from Bad Salzungen / Wartburgkreis / Thuringia! We were on vacation from August 4th. until August 11th at the Edersee in the Roggenlandhotel! Our conclusion is clear! We had a very nice vacation. The staff, from the hotel management, to the service, to the kitchen staffare excellent! Our special requests were always responded to very well, such as: the food, very good! The rooms are very well equipped! We would like to thank you very much for the wonderful time!
