Unfortunately, the hotel is very short on staff, but the staff that is available is really nice and hard-working. The food isn't great, but it's definitely good. There are enough components at the buffet, be it in the morning or evening. The rooms are simple but clean, as is the swimming pool and sauna. The location is really wonderful!

A nice hotel with half board and drinks for dinner.Very, very tasty, big compliments to the kitchen.However, you should be in the restaurant directly at 6 p.m.In my opinion there is not enough space.The rooms are very spacious and clean.The service is good, but most of it is self-service.The food from the buffet.The area is really great, you can go hiking here.Dogs are also welcome here.Winterberg is about 8 km away.But shouldn't be a problem.The only thing I complain about is that you have to pay for parking.It's only 2 euros a day, but does it have to be like that?Otherwise it's a really nice vacation.

We felt completely comfortable.From the room to the swimming pool to the dining room, everything was clean.Everyone was friendly and happy to help.We also used the hobby room on two evenings, billiards, table football and board games. Super. Table tennis wasn't worth it because there was no equal opponent ;)Everything was great and a clear recommendation!

We felt completely at home, the food was extremely tasty and varied!There was a friendly atmosphere in the hotel, from checking in to closing! Anyone who wants to spend a quiet holiday in beautiful nature is in good hands here!We'll be back!

Were there for the 2nd time. Very nice staff, we once again felt very comfortable. Food plentiful and tasty. Kudos to the chef. Also a big compliment to the lady at reception. Very nice and forthcoming.It wasn't the last time there. We'll be back. Greetings Gisela and Bernd.

Beautiful hotel located in the middle of nature, fantastic walks can be taken from the hotel followed by a refreshing indoor swimming pool. Excellent hotel concept with very friendly and hard-working staff, led by Silvia (Manager) who sets the right example with her flexible efforts. A chef who does his best every time to provide a good evening buffet. The Hotel concept does require some initiative, serving yourself a glass of wine, etc. The spacious parking spaces are also nice. Been twice this year, we will definitely come again.

Panorama is beautiful. Bathroom very small. Dinner is better from 5 to 7 p.m. and the sauna is great when it is and 2.3 hours in the morning. But I wanted to say it was very nice and maybe next year we'll be happy to come back.👌👌

We have now been to this hotel for the third time. The friendliness of the entire staff is worth 5 stars.The excellent breakfast and dinner cannot be compared with conventional hotels. Simply great.Also 5 + stars.Rooms were always clean and well maintained. Extra pillows were prepared the second time without any announcement. Swimming pool and sauna were also very nice.Always my pleasure.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel. As a child, I often went on holiday here with my family at the RAG Haus. I have now visited it again to reminisce a bit.

The quiet location away from the hustle and bustle was exactly what we liked. We found the accommodation in room 3 negative, a standard room with a view of a concrete wall, feeling like we were in a basement apartment. These rooms 1-6 are an unreasonable expectation for the guest! The size of the room was sufficient, the facilities were good. The range of food available in the morning and evening was sufficient and very tasty. We liked the fact that dinner was constantly checked and refilled immediately.

Centrally located hotel that offers everything you need. Excursion destinations are easy to reach from here. The buffet is very good and plentiful in the ramen half board plus including drinks for dinner. The breakfast buffet is also very good

We were there from Friday to Sunday.Hotel with HB+.We were warmly welcomed and this nice, friendly manner continued in all areas, whether at the bar, at the buffet, at the massage, etc.The rooms were clean and well maintained, the food was really good and plentiful.Sauna and pool were fine. Conclusion, we were completely satisfied and will be happy to come back.

We were completely satisfied again as we were in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Friendly staff, varied half board. Very nice location at the top of the mountain with a view of the valley. Best starting point for hikes up to the Hochheide and other mountain peaks.

We had a short vacation with half board +. That means we had free drinks for dinner...but you have to serve yourself as there was no service.Then we had a massage which was very, very good..The swimming pool is not very big. The bar was closed for health reasons.Just the right place to relax as it is very quiet in the forest.However, parking costs 2 euros per day.

Very picturesque location in the forest with a wide view of the Sauerland, beautiful rooms, pool and sauna. Evening buffet was good, breakfast buffet was unfortunately decimated shortly after 9 and was only selectively refilled.

A wonderful hotel to escape the summer heat! The pool is really great and you can also take a sauna. The location is perfect as a starting point for hikes and excursions.The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection - from savory to sweet dishes.You shouldn't have too high expectations of the rooms and the mattresses ;) But the hotel is super cheap!
