Rooms are quite impersonal. Thick PVC films on the tables instead of decorative tablecloths. Shower cubicle dirty and very unsightly. The wood for the children's play equipment has not yet seen a drop of paint. Everything is weathered and rusted.The smell of pig fattening is almost unbearable. What's there in summer?

If it smells like manure in the summer twice as bad as it did when the outside temperature was 5 degrees, it's probably lucky. The rooms are quite well prepared, but ventilating them, let alone staying outside, is no longer possible due to the extreme nuisance. I grew up in the country myself, but these smells transcended everything.

We lived in the Rockenstuhl apartment for ten days: it was completely sufficient for my son and I, but for a family of five I could imagine that there wasn't enough storage space...the apartment and yard are clean...the landlady is very good nice and always available for questions or a conversation...due to the constant rainy weather, a craft session was even organized - fun, not just for the children...hiking opportunities also available from the farm...shopping opportunities (supermarket and drugstore) in Hilders, 10 minutes away (by car). Conclusion: we recovered very well and miss the peace and the beautiful view from the room

We went to the Kesselhof with our grandchildren for a week. We all thought it was very nice. The children were able to play safely all day long, pet and feed animals, jump on the trampoline and much more. A tractor ride and pony riding were also possible. We would like to thank the Kling family for allowing us to spend such a wonderful time there.

Nice, but more animals and involvement of guests in their care would be desirable.One more point - a microwave is a must in a holiday home with children.

A beautiful holiday farm from which you can plan many excursions. There are a few animals, but proper care and work is done by the owners. Feeding the rabbits is the attraction. The children go on a trip with the two horses once a week. Otherwise you'll be driving around with Kettcar Bobyccar. Nice, but not what I mean by an excellent children's farm.

Friendly reception. Room as expected and described. Lots of play options for children. Pony riding is included and possible at any time. Shops and sights can be reached quickly. The Kling family always seeks contact with their guests. Room prices are okay. Bread service only twice a week, but a good baker can be reached quickly.

A beautiful place to relax and a starting point for many activities. Wonderful for children and families. Super nice hosts. Located between field and forest, with a large property and a few animals to pet. Brick barbecue with outdoor seating, open fireplace for a campfire and children's playground with football goals. There are many toy vehicles (bobby car, Kettcar, pedal tractor, etc.) available for the little ones to use freely. We'll definitely come back.
