Heating whistles, so to connect the laptop we preferred the bedside table ;-( so bad...then the bathroom? You hear everything from other guests. Breakfast wasn't that great either, the breakfast egg is inedible! Disappointed!

Nice little hotel with a wonderful view of Neuschwanstein Castle.Comfortably furnished room for overnight stays. Unfortunately there are no hooks for jackets and coats.Breakfast sufficient and varied.

We were there for one night. I can't understand many of the reviews.The key is available via a safe... totally uncomplicated.Room 2... yes it's getting old, sink in the room, tiles in the bathroom from a different time BUT everything was super clean. Bed totally comfortable. Cabinet, sideboard also newBreakfast: small buffet, but something for everyone. Anyone who complains about this should stay at homePrice-performance ratio is simply top.All the staff were super friendlyLocation, very close to the royal castlesYes, it started during the day, if you walk 25 meters to the right from the hotel, there is an absolute tourist corner. If you walk to the left it looks different.Anyone who complains probably didn't think about it when booking. Msn can google the location very well in advanceAbsolute peace and a good night's sleep are possible at nightI think the location is great. Although we didn't get up that early, after checking out we were able to enjoy the Alpsee in peace with just a few other visitors.We'll definitely be back

The hotel is close to Neuschwanstein Castle and Schwangau Castle and 15 minutes from Alpsee, it has nice rooms with a view of the castle

Loved the place!Self check in. Plenty of parking.Breakfast was good.Clean room.Right in the centre of the tourist area. Walking distance to the castles and restaurants.You can see the castle from the hotel.

Magical place. Panoramic position with a visitable garden that is a spectacle. In the center of the black forest in a really beautiful elevated position. There is a small park for children to play, a medieval tower and it has a wonderful, panoramic and beautiful dining and breakfast room. the staff is very courteous, the rooms are nice but not beautiful, without air conditioning. We couldn't eat because the restaurant is closed on Mondays but the nearby village offers alternatives and is just a stone's throw away. Beautiful and highly recommended!

Even though some of the furnishings (bed and wardrobe were new) were a bit old, it must be made clear that everything was super clean.The staff very friendly. Check-in via keybox is easy, there is plenty of parking space and a great breakfast with a good selection.Plus a view of the castle included.All in all, a great place to stay overnight at a reasonable rate for us. Thanks.

Top location between the two castles.Hotel parking allows you to avoid paying for castle parking.Cute room and impeccable breakfast to start the day.Super welcoming service and typical decoration of the region.Really good for soaking up the culture of the region.

The first arrival on July 30th and especially room 6 was not good, especially the chaos of tourism there is not that good for me.Room 6, where everything shook, had a creaky door that barely closed and water in the shower that didn't drain. As a slim person, I doubted whether I had gained weight again.It was also just a stopover on our Italy trip.Then the return journey from Italy on July 4th - 6th was the thought again, hopefully NOT room 6 but I was cheered up by room 31, the room put everything in order again, totally chic and simple and nice arch with balcony...... From the person discussing it Closet from room 6, room 31 was the fairytale room that topped everything.For those from outside who come to visit Neuschwanstein Castle or Hohenschwangau, it should be enough. If you like tourist chaos, you shouldn't miss it. Me and my partner had to leave the place and find a quiet area where things weren't so hectic. ROOM 31 I'm still overwhelmed. Hohenschwangau tour was ok.

The location is very good, Neuschwanstein Castle is right in front of you.Free breakfast includes bread, ham, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.The service is okay, but what is more troublesome is that the guestcard said it was sent to the mailbox but was not received. Later, I printed a copy and it was not resolved.

Has great location to castles and town.We walked up the hill to the castle and was a beautiful walk with highland cows accompanying is (was awesome)The lady at the place made a great breakfast spread and was very friendly.Breakfast was great and set us up for a stunning day.Highly recommend staying there and walking around the area so many little things to see 🤩
