Really great! Very nice rooms, well furnished, very clean. A great view. Absolutely quiet and easy parking. We are thrilled. The breakfast was great! The guest room was nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Everything fine! A mini criticism: The packaged small jams were not that tasty. Otherwise, the breakfast was super rich and delicious. We'd love to come back.

Parking ok. Room service excellent. Double rooms and single rooms are very nice and clean. Great breakfast and very good service.The negative is: The hotel is located on two streets, you always have to expect dogs barking because this hotel is dog-friendly (the owner also has dogs). What was very annoying was that drills were being used every 20 minutes on one day. On a day of all days when I wanted to relax in the room because of a severe headache. Plus the barking of dogs. Recovery was not possible!

Great accommodation and almost everything is available (I'm missing a safe in the room). Rooms are clean.Very large selection at the breakfast buffet... there is even salmon, freshly cut fruit and white sausages 😋.It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the Hopfensee. Great location.There is a vending machine with drinks and food for a fee. A separate paid coffee machine is also available.Unfortunately I have to deduct one point because the bicycle garage is a disaster. Small, impractical and not really ideal for a cycling holiday. We couldn't use our bikes in the late afternoon because there were other people's locked bikes in front of them. Trailers for children and dogs also take up space. You always have to maneuver well so that you don't tip over the other wheels.Either free up another garage or consider a different organization system.

Full stars in all categories.The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is great. Fresh and rich.You get great tips from the reception. And dogs are very welcome. The room was very clean . Conclusion: completely satisfied. And we'd love to come back.

Very nice hotel furnished with attention to detail, we were particularly impressed by the deer decorations. We booked 2 double rooms for 1 night, both rooms were also super clean. The welcome was warm and informative. Our visitor from New York also felt very comfortable and raved about the delicious regional breakfast, which was very tastefully prepared.We'd love to come back soon!We wish the team at Hotel Alpenglühn all the best, you are really great hosts ❤️

Travelled for a week through Bavaria, and this hotel was the highlight of the trip. The owner is very organized and sent detailed instructions to get our room, anytime we arrived. We requested a room on the second floor with a mountain/lake view and it was breathtaking. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. The breakfast was delicious with so many options including fresh scrambled eggs and sausages. We only stayed one night to see the nearby castles, but will definitely be returning in the future to enjoy more time in this lovely hotel.

We had great hosts at this hotel.The reception was friendly and we got good information from the lady. Including suggestions for nearby restaurants - all good and one of them very good.We also liked the room. It was clean and freshened up upon request. There was enough space and the room facilities were as stated.Breakfast was generous and, above all, with a large selection of fresh fruit.When the hotel is at low occupancy, certain meals are offered upon request.Depending on the room you have a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding mountains.There are enough parking spaces available.We look forward to seeing you again.

A very nice hotel, with a very good location on Lake Hopfensee. You can go hiking there very well and Füssen is not far away.The furnishings are very nice and everything is kept very, very clean.The breakfast is also perfectly fine and there are enough restaurants at the lake for the evening. (also very tasty)

A small, fine hotel above Lake Hopfensee, about 10 minutes from FüssenOur room had a view of Lake Hopfensee and the adjacent AlpsRegardless of whether it was sunny, raining or snowing, the view was always very beautifulThe room was large and spacious for two people and very, very clean, but unfortunately a bit noisy compared to the neighboring rooms and the rooms above and the elevatorWe noticed absolutely nothing about the street, which is supposed to be a race trackThe breakfast was okay, it would be nice if there were regional products (honey, jam).The breakfast room is large and very clean, the service was very attentive and very friendlyYou can park either directly in front of the hotel, if everything is full you can park at Haus Hopfensee (2 minute walk)Here you should then place a business card from the hotel behind the windshieldOne note: thumbs up for the PV system and the e-charging stationWe'd love to come back

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view.They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job.The concept is self check in which works well.There is parking and also a charging station.

Simply great!The hostess and the staff are very friendly. We and our dog were very welcome. The room (with balcony) was very clean and modernly furnished. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection. The location by the lake is great. We'll definitely come back :)

The location of the hotel is a dream, beautiful views, very idyllic and quiet. Traffic isn't particularly bothersome, "idiots" rarely drive up the road at 100km/h at night. Ear plugs are available for these cases. The room is very nicely decorated and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot in the attic, which meant that sleep was hardly possible for the first few nights, despite the fan, because it wasn't sufficient and very loud. Climate would certainly make more sense! Windows couldn't always be opened due to wasps on the balcony. Small clean fridge available in the room. Very good. Unfortunately, the room was never cleaned by itself, you always had to put a sign out if you wanted it. Due to Corona - supposedly. However, we personally found this to be very questionable and difficult; you often feel like a nuisance and a burden - because there aren't that many staff. In addition, Corona was long over at that point...Unfortunately, at breakfast there wasn't always enough space for the number of guests present and you had to wait a little. Service at breakfast was very different - there was only one competent (professional) person who had everything under control, from friendliness to stocking the buffet and cleaning the tables! So great, and unfortunately so rare! Unfortunately, the others caused a lot of hecticness in the breakfast room and you had the feeling that the work wasn't too easy - or you wanted to save on the delicious grain rolls. The fact that the juices are not cooled, as is the milk, is very unfortunate and should definitely be reconsidered. Also the design of the room (e.g. create more tables for guests, use them as storage instead of two tables at the front or give the opportunity to have breakfast outside)The price-performance ratio in this hotel wasn't right for us either, even the coffee in the machine during the day was very expensive. Definitely the place again, but not in the same hotel! Just look 200 meters further.However, if you don't mind paying more money for less service, the hotel is completely sufficient and you'll still have a great vacation!
