A small, family-run hotel.The operators are very open and communicative and always have one or two tips for things to do or eat.The hotel is conveniently located next to a tram stop and you can get to the old town very quickly.Breakfast was served and there was also a small buffet with other small things.

It is located at one of the entrances to Freiburg. Very comfortable for those who travel by car and want to get on and off the highway quickly. Free parking outside. The neighborhood is quiet with many services. Run by a very friendly man who speaks good English and explains everything you need. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The decoration is old but everything is clean. The rooms are not particularly big but you get by just fine. Pure tiled bathroom. The only drawbacks are that it is on the first floor without an elevator. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility or if you are carrying large luggage. The other problem is that it does not have air conditioning and it can get a bit hot. It is not a hotel to spend more time than essential. Highly recommended if you give it the basic use of sleeping and little else.

A friendly, warm little hotel. With a nice location near the lake. The welcome was very friendly in advance when the booking was confirmed and then also by the host personally. There are certainly one or two places in the rooms and bathroom that need to be looked at again due to their age. Overall, I found the hotel to be very pleasant as a family-run accommodation and therefore the price-performance ratio was fine for me. Thank you for a nice stay in Freiburg!

I stayed at the Hotel Bären for 5 nights, a long weekend. The hotel is very cute and more than sufficient for my case. The innkeepers are phenomenal, very open and communicative. You feel very at home.Breakfast was always served and there was also a small buffet.I felt very comfortable here and would like to come back.Highly recommended.

Very friendly people, the owner received me personally after registering by telephone. Overnight stay was kind of necessary because I was stranded with the truck and the repairs were delayed. The other day it was neatly returned to the garage. The overnight stay was great, we slept wonderfully, no noise and a very good bed. Good shower, breakfast as well, price was also very reasonable. I recommend this address.

This is the third time I've been here and I'm 100% satisfied again.A small, family hotel run with a lot of love!The rooms are lovingly furnished and spotlessly clean.The beds are also very comfortable.Service and breakfast are also absolutely top!I would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back!

If you expect a contemporary hotel in a good location, you should look elsewhere, otherwise you will probably be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a family-run property with a lot of down-to-earthness, you can enjoy it.✅ nice and very attentive owner, good connection to public transport, cleanliness, rooms reasonably modern⛔ Breakfast unfortunately at youth hostel level, interior up to the room screams 70s, no ventilation in the room (pollen/heat!), house ugly

Quiet, clean room, individually decorated (ours in graffiti style), equipped with everything you need. Great breakfast with very attentive service! Convenient location (car parking lot and tram connection to the city center). Baden and international restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

The route was well described and the time-independent arrival using the “door code” was also well described.The room is very nice and clean.Personally, I (come from a small village) had a bit of a hard time at the beginning with the intersection in front of the hotel. But this isn't disturbing either.The rooms are on the first floor and everything is pleasantly quiet. For people who have difficulty climbing stairs. Unfortunately I can only recommend choosing another hotel.The operating family is super friendly and also very accommodating.I was a guest because of my professional training and would come back at any time. Because it is a pleasant and quiet accommodation.The commercial academy is also easy to reach. Shops and transport options are easy to reach.
