Dinner was great, unfortunately the rest wasn't okay at all. We had an "old" room, it was ok, as far as you could tell given the darkness throughout the house, the bathroom wasn't ok at all, not clean. Were asked on arrival if the room should be cleaned every day. It took me a night to digest the question. In the hotel the room is not automatically cleaned every day???? And you have to pick up toilet paper and towels at reception??? Doesn't work for me at all.

Once there and never again. Misunderstandings at check-in, at checkout, not so family and child-friendly (immediate attention was drawn to me when my 4-year-old child cleared out the toys and didn't put them back on the shelf that was way too high..." just like at home"). The three worlds cards were given to us too late, there was no welcome drink. The annoying thing: on the internet it says “Wellness ...”. So it's not a wellness hotel, you can use this 3 World Card to go to Bad Dürrheim (20-25 km away) into Solemar Thermen or I don't know where else... mistake.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Room was great. We slept in the rectory. Everything very clean. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Dinner was a 3 course menu and was very tasty. The staff was friendly.

We had dinner at the Rössle today with a tour group. We pre-ordered our food by phone in the morning, which is the easiest thing for a group of 46 people. Most of us ordered a salad bowl with hash browns for 14. However, what was served was shocking and simply a disgrace. It was a salad plate with some leaf lettuce (unfortunately not very fresh anymore), some carrot sticks, a bit of corn and of course not forgetting 3 small round rösti (they were quite okay, you can't go wrong with that). In my opinion, a salad bowl is something completely different, as there was simply a lack of variety in raw vegetable salads. Dear Rössle team, please don't call it a bowl!!!!!! Just call it a side salad or a small salad plate!!!!! But I give the boss a lot of credit, because she noticed from the guests' reactions that we were upset, so she only charged us 10 for the salad instead of 14. But unfortunately I have to say, I won't eat there again.

Food was very tasty, want to order a menu with beef. Unfortunately there wasn't. We then ordered chicken with spaetzle and sauce. It was tasty but not much for a man. Breakfast sufficient but little choice. The hallway to the rooms was very dark. You had to look for the light switch in the dark. Had a room facing the courtyard. So the outlook is rather bad. Room view very clean and nicely decorated. Roller shutter didn't work. Bathroom is rather older and not quite as clean. Guesthouse in a small town, very quiet. Parking spaces sufficient. On the whole we were satisfied. Fridge would have been good.

Opening times not managed at Google. When you run a restaurant, you should not only keep an eye on the culinary side, but also other things that relate to it. For me this also includes the service to the guest in terms of correct opening times, restaurant marked as open and then having to find out to my regret that the trip was free. In my opinion, it's not enough just to simply refer to them, they're on our website. If a restaurant is taken over or opened, Google Maps must also be checked or maintained. Since this doesn't seem to be of interest, the 1 star rating probably won't be important either...

Hotel well placed for a stopover between Lake Titisee and the Rhine Falls, it is a good compromise.The welcome is great with the young woman but just see the waitress who could be a little more friendly

On the first evening we didn't get a place for dinner. We were forced to call around. The hotel staff was not very helpful. Dinner took place elsewhere.The breakfast room the next day had a similar atmosphere to a waiting room with exactly that volume.The room was not cleaned up during the day.WiFi is available but no internet!Not barrier-free!Very noisy!Not again!

The hotel is located in a small town. Very quiet and hardly any traffic. The family tries to make your visit as pleasant as possible. A wonderful starting point for excursions and hikes
