I stayed at this hotel for a night with my colleague. Very quiet place, family run hotel. The rooms were very clean and the furniture looked fresh. So they might have done some renovation recently. The breakfast was great. And all this was at very competitive rate. Two thumbs up!

We were passing through and only there for one night. The welcome was very warm, the willingness to help was great and the breakfast was good. The room and the bathroom were quite large, well and modernly furnished and the beds (mattresses) were very good. The room faced the street, but with the windows closed the street noise didn't bother us at night. The price-performance ratio is very good. Very easy booking via the in-house website, telephone queries are easy.In short: highly recommended!

If you are looking for quiet accommodation, far away from the hustle and bustle of the Hanseatic city, but which is still only about 20 minutes away by car, this is the perfect place for you. Rooms are very spacious. Hotel very quiet, beds very comfortable. Clean in every corner. Breakfast was adequate. Restaurant simple but good. Recommended!

We stayed at the German House in Francop for two days on the way to our family vacation. The rooms are neatly furnished and clean. The standard of furnishings depends on the room. One had a modern bathroom with a single lever mixer tap and modern tiles. The other was a little journey back in time to the mid-1990s. But that wasn't a problem because everything worked perfectly and was nice and clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We even got tips for the trip to Hamburg (P+R, cheap parking, best connection, etc.).The breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. The hotel is ideal for day trips to Hamburg or the surrounding area. Not so close to the city that it would be loud and bright and not so far away that you would have to commute forever. By car (P+R) and S-Bahn we were at the main station and the landing stages in no time at all.Actually we liked everything. If you want to look for something that can be improved, perhaps it would be the marking of the lowered area of the parking lot entrance. It's hard to see it at night if you're a stranger.

Well, that was very nice there. Were there for the funeral. Tables neat and well set. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And the cake... my goodness, was it delicious. I don't think I've ever eaten such a delicious filled butter cake. Quite inconspicuous from the outside, but there are enough parking spaces there. Thanks for the nice afternoon.
