I was a solo traveler and spontaneously visited the Hotel Dünenschloss.Room:The room was okay so far, but it will also be the best point on the list. The only thing missing was a minibar, the bathroom was a bit too small and you could hear all the other hotel guests in the bathroom.Breakfast:This is by far the worst item on the list. In my opinion, breakfast borders on bodily harm. On the first morning I came to breakfast for the first time and saw the selection counted. There was only bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, butter, fruit and some cereal. The rolls tasted like they had been there for a week and sat on my stomach all day. Maybe the provider should be changed. The fruit was sparse and very dry and the cheese was also past its best, which meant I only ate slices of bread on the second meal. 13€ per person is really a bit too much to ask.Staff:The breakfast staff was very friendly and responded to requests. However, what struck me negatively were the receptionist and a kitchen employee. On the first morning, during breakfast time, the kitchen worker came out of the kitchen smoking, which is not possible at all in my opinion. The receptionist came to the already meager breakfast buffet on both days, helped herself and then chatted away at the guests while chewing. In my opinion it is more of a guesthouse than a hotel and not recommended at all. If you are brave you can say that the sea view improves everything a little, but the price-performance ratio is still not justified at all.

We were there from July 22nd to July 29th, 2023. 2 people 4 floor room 402. Elevator is available. The only thing that was good about the room was the balcony (approx. 4 x 2 meters) and the very nice view of the sea (approx. 50 meters). The beds were ok, everything else was for my taste, a nice atmosphere. Not possible to watch TV from bed, only watch the news in the evening. Toilet approx. 200x 90 cm. Shower much too small. The whole interior is getting old. Tues and Wed are closed days, you should have mentioned this when checking in, then dinner in the in-house restaurant is not possible. Breakfast has a good selection (bread, rolls, cereal, jam, sausage, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea, milk). The rolls are not what you would imagine, but rather milk rolls with grains, delicious! But the staff is very friendly and attentive. The clientele who vacation there are more like 70+, which didn't particularly bother us, but it did give us the feeling of a seniors' residence. (We are both a little over 55) Some people have been coming there for years. Food in the restaurant grade 3 (TG pizza) but fish was ok. 1 week of parking at the hotel, 49 euros, with a room price for 2 people of 206 euros, per night with breakfast, parking should be included. On the whole, for me personally, I won't go on vacation there again because the price is way too high and the service is too low.Anyone with walking difficulties should not consider this location!

Good morning. Were on Usedom for the first time and chose this hotel by chance. 😉 As a short feedback, we would like to say a big thank you to the entire team, we felt completely comfortable and well looked after. We were very impressed by the delicious breakfast and hearty dinner! We'd love to come back! 😍 Greetings from rainy Hamburg, we miss your sun..! 🌞

I've never eaten such dry fish on the Baltic Sea, so I didn't even eat half of it. The price is totally exaggerated. The friendliness of the waitress was a joke. Therefore there was only minimal tipping. Nobody will see us here again. We ate there around 1:30 p.m. on August 23rd, 2022.

I can only rate the restaurant. July 2022. A manageable number of tables and only occupied outside. Although there were three waitresses serving the guests, there were incredibly long waiting times. 20 minutes for a beer. 1.5 hour wait for a Pizza Diavolo. Special requests (no onions) were noted but not implemented. The pizza was ok, but that didn't improve our mood. What was particularly annoying was that the long waiting time for pizza was due to orders taken away from home. This needs to be improved.

So I can only talk about spontaneity, rooms and breakfast here.Super nice staff, spontaneously offered me a room for one night on the day of the call. It was incredibly difficult to find a room for one night. The room was tidy, the view was fantastic, you looked directly at the water when you woke up. Breakfast was also delicious and there was even time for an extra request. I can't understand the bad reviews at all, apart from lunch/dinner I unfortunately didn't have time for that.

It's a shame...the waiter was completely unfriendly and uninterested. The food wasn't eitherbetter. The pasta we ordered was warmed up, but only lukewarm. The pizzas were only very sparsely topped and the lunch special, a fish plate, was nothing more than an appetizer. We didn't have to leave an address, like in every other restaurant during Corona times. The waiter wasn't too particular about the mask either. Thank God we have never had such bad experiences or eaten so badly anywhere in Usedom.
