We had lovely days with the best food, friendly service staff (we particularly remember Mr. Niepold with his charming manner) and the cuisine is highly recommended. The ambience is simply harmonious. We will come again at another time of year.I also “treated myself” to the offer of a massage. It was an hour that was very good for me physically and mentally... Greetings Silvia Siebert

It is RZ … so why we needed to pay € 190.- for a night with breakfast???? In RZ?Perfect party, perfect location with perfect views! Breakfast not 100% … good self service coffee missing, service not 100% awake, fruits could be better.Make the price fair and all is good!

We spent one night here. We had high hopes because it looked wonderful online. Unfortunately our bed was terribly lumpy and we both woke up with back pain etc. Let's not even talk about the huge visitor crack in the middle of the bed. The bathroom itself is very nicely designed with a large shower. Unfortunately, the toilet paper holder is completely inappropriate because you always have to reach behind you. We also had a blocked pipe in the bathroom. So I was standing in the shower in the morning and the water came up from the drain. Unfortunately there was no real reaction from the reception. The dog hair on the bed and in the room doesn't work at all for allergy sufferers. You might want to match the different carpets in the house to one color. Unfortunately the parking situation is bad. There are only a few hotel parking spaces around the house and then only the public parking lot on the other side of the street remains. Here the day ticket costs 8 euros and is valid from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The breakfast was actually rather simple for us, but that's a matter of perspective. What was really wonderful was the view of the lake. This look is quite calming and outstanding. Unfortunately, this night was a disappointing experience for us.

An all around wonderful experience – a perfect stay!My stay in this privately run four-star hotel was simply fantastic. From the first minute I felt like I was in good hands. The restaurant also completely convinced me. The beef fillet in particular was a real highlight – tender, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The menu offered a great selection of fresh, delicious dishes to complete the dining experience. My room was large, beautifully located on the lake side and modernly furnished. I particularly liked the well thought-out lighting concept; it created a cozy and elegant atmosphere at the same time. The cleanliness was also impeccable - simply a room in which you immediately feel at home.A special highlight was the in-house terrace on the Küchensee. I was able to relax here in the afternoon and enjoy the view of the lake with coffee and cake - simply wonderful!Breakfast was a delight! In addition to a diverse selection, there was freshly cut fruit, which I really appreciated. The sauna area was a true oasis of relaxation - just the thing to leave everyday life behind. The hotel also offers many different rooms for seminars or events, which also makes it attractive for business travelers. There was a relaxed atmosphere all around, which made the stay perfect. Another plus point: There is parking right in front of the house, which made the journey very convenient. The hotel manager, Mr. Hemptenmacher, also proved to be an excellent host. It was noticeable that he fulfills his role with passion and ensures that every guest feels welcome and well looked after. But the entire staff was consistently attentive, very friendly and always ready to respond to individual requests. Conclusion: This hotel offers everything you could want for a successful stay. I can only warmly recommend it and will definitely come back!

First the positive:We and my parents were able to arrive a day earlier than planned. The lady at the reception was very nice. The hotel is in a nice location and the lake view rooms have a very nice view. Unfortunately that was it.On the negative side:Parking is an absolute disaster. The parking spaces at the hotel are free but very rare. There is a paid parking lot directly opposite. We had our dog with us. We read in the Google reviews that dogs get bowls, a blanket and treats in the room. Unfortunately we don't have any information. We thought it was a shame if you had to pay an extra €20 per day for the dog.The next point that doesn't work for us and especially not for a hotel that claims to be 4* superior is the carpet in the rooms. From a hygiene point of view this is questionable and even more so with pets. As an allergy sufferer, you notice the carpet immediately. In addition, the door to our room was crooked, so the draft in our room was so bad that you thought you were standing outside. The WiFi is so bad that at some point it became too stupid for us and we simply stopped connecting it. It keeps breaking off. It would have been unnecessary to provide a tablet that only works with this WiFi. An absolute disaster for a 4 star hotel!Dinner is quite expensive and the menu doesn't really offer much choice. Vegans have to starve. If you want to change the side dish for the main course, like it was with my parents because you can't tolerate the ones on the menu, you'll be looked at stupidly - it's a shame. In addition, I also have to say that our food in the restaurant was very good. Our waiter, Ms. Siemers, was also very nice and attentive. We had a wasp nest under the roof on the balcony. The bathroom only has a small shelf space, which might be enough for one person or a shorter stay, but it wasn't enough for 2 people and 6 nights. In addition, the bathroom was not cleaned properly as the glass panel was still dirty after the maid's visit. My mattress was sagging and I had a small blood stain on the sheet that I cleaned up myself. Unfortunately my sheets were not changed during the entire stay. The ashtray in my parents' room wasn't emptied and on the first day my parents didn't have a refill of shower gel and shampoo, which meant my mother had to wash her hair with hand soap because the maid didn't understand German or English. My mother then had to write her requests (refilling the ashtray and shampoo) on a piece of paper and wait for the next day.The breakfast was okay, nothing earth-shattering. However, as a vegan you wouldn't have much choice. The reception staff were always very friendly. When it came to restaurant staff, it depended very much on whether the person felt like working that day or not. We are always very friendly because the job definitely brings a lot of stress, but then don't take it out on those who are friendly. Guests are imitated and made fun of, which we noticed by chance while we were standing at the breakfast buffet. The hotel tries desperately to present itself as a 4 star hotel, which it absolutely is not. A 3 star categorization would be more appropriate here.We wouldn't come back because we've already stayed in various 4 star superior hotels, all of which are way ahead of the Seehof. The Seehof will probably not be able to understand the review or find our booking, as is the case with most of the other rather negative reviews here, which is a shame. Instead of justifying yourself or rejecting the criticism, perhaps it would be appropriate for a change to take the criticism seriously and work on yourself. We therefore give it two stars. There's nothing more.
