You have to make sure that you don't book a room in the annex because everything there is getting old. The stairwell is dark and musty, and the rooms also have an unpleasant smell. …

The complex is beautifully located directly on Lake Plauer, but a lot of things are getting old. Contrary to the pictures and reviews, our room was not very inviting, which was probably because we had a room in the annex. However, when booking it was not clear that these were very outdated, musty rooms. And the price of €170 per night is not justified.The 4 mini golf courses are rusted and the paint is peeling everywhere, the chess board is barely recognizable and should be repainted and the climbing frame no longer meets today's safety standards for playgrounds.The indoor swimming pool is great, we didn't try the sauna.All in all, the facility is fine, with a little care and renovation it can become a real gem.

We spent a long weekend at the Aparthotel am See in Plau am See in spring and were completely thrilled. The room we had was outstanding. It was clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.The staff in the hotel and in the restaurant were consistently nice and accommodating. They put a lot of effort into our well-being, which made our stay even more pleasant.The resort is beautifully maintained and offers a variety of accommodation, including bungalows, holiday homes and the hotel itself. Of particular note is the swimming pool at the hotel, which we enjoyed using. The lake is just a few meters away on foot and offers a great opportunity for relaxation.Overall we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Many thanks to the entire team at the Aparthotel am See for the great stay!

Unfortunately, the rooms in the aparthotel were not really clean and there was a musty smell throughout the house. The mattresses are very soft.The swimming pool is great. Price-performance doesn't fit, especially in the restaurant (frozen goods)

Great 4 days at Plauer See. The complex offers rooms, apartments, small houses. Here everyone will find the right accommodation for couples, families and groups.All the staff here is very friendly and helpful.We will be back and can give our recommendation with a clear conscience

For the past 3 years I have been coming to this hotel every April/May for 3 weeks - just great. The room was very well maintained and bright. The balcony with a view of the lake was simply fantastic. At the breakfast buffet everything is available, everything is fresh and no prepackaged foods. There is also a variety of fresh fruit.The entire staff was very nice and helpful.When I leave, I book again for next year.

The only sad thing was that with a price of 169€ for 2 people for one night while you have access to the pool and sauna for free they don't give you an extra towel.and an extra costs 4 €.Other than this everything was great!very clean!!and very kind people working there!!

This quietly located, cozy little hotel on Lake Plauer is perfect for a cozy break for two! We spent three days here in March 2024 and felt very comfortable.We lived “under the starry sky”, or more precisely in the studio with a panoramic glass roof. This room is extraordinary! It's stylish, but still very comfortable and has everything you could want for your stay (the small, walk-in closet is great!). From the bed you can look at the sky, from the balcony at the lake. The bathroom is great; everything was spotlessly clean. The small kitchenette is quite well equipped, but we only used the fridge and the kettle - the early morning coffee with a view of the lake was a pleasure every morning!The hotel belongs to the Heidenholz holiday park; The entire complex with the holiday homes down to the shore is well maintained and lovingly designed. The private beach is certainly a highlight in summer, but depending on the time of year we preferred to use the beautiful indoor pool - everything in the wellness area was also well-kept and clean.We particularly liked the small restaurant (restaurant/café holiday park)! The breakfast buffet was great every morning, and we also enjoyed the dinner very much (the homemade sour meat and the game goulash were particularly tasty!). Small extra requests were gladly and quickly fulfilled. The employees were all very friendly, the service there gets an extra point!A big thank you to the entire hotel team here for the relaxing, cozy short vacation!What you should consider (but that didn't bother us at all): The hotel is a bit remote, there are no restaurants or shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the shopping center with various discount stores, and about 30 minutes to the city of Plau. Depending on the season, the hotel restaurant is closed for one or two evenings, so you may have to look for an alternative. There is also no hotel bar. We always have some water (and some wine) and instant coffee with us - we can only recommend that for your stay here.

We had a wonderful short break, there were no complaints, a great little hotel with all the amenities, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was at its best, the portions were barely manageable, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back

We stayed in the main house. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and the wellness area was also good. The breakfast left nothing to be desired for us. The location is very good 👍. All in all we were very satisfied and will come again.

Rooms in the extension like in the deepest GDR times, furnishings, windows are a catastrophe. One star for the room would be too much. The water in the pool under all...Breakfast top, everything you need, evening menu, good cook and service staff, good location
