First, the hotel has a completely different name: Hotel central Inn.It is completely different from the pictures.We thought we booked a small apartment with 3 different rooms (one bathroom, one small kitchen and one bathroom), but no. Everything was in the same room, which has wall stains, the furniture needs a complete makeover, you could see mold stains in the mattress through the sheets, the wood flower was very creaky, the shower head is very rusty and calcified.The kitchen hasn't any ventilation ducts, so when you cook the room smells like food the entire day and night. The room was booked for two people and the kitchen only has one fork. The ceiling has some serious cracks too.The lady from the desk is rude, we asked for a place to have dinner nearby and she just nodded her head like she doesn't want to be bothered. Even when we went asking for toilet paper, she was complaining that we should wait for room service 😳What really annoyed me the most was how dirty and stained the dishware is, not to mention how dirty the whole room is.However, I must say the location is great. Right in front, you have a supermarket called "Penny".Next you have the central berlin station by 10 min walking and a lot of bus and tram spots. The Reichstag is considerably close, as it is the Bellevue Palace, the victory column and the Bradenburg Gate.I think this hotel would be amazing if they did a nice and modern make over to the rooms by exchanging parts of the furniture, re-doing the wall painting, by replacing that creaky wood floor and improving the cleaninnless.Despite everything being written above, you cannot complain on the price.

Four days in a cozy, very clean apartment with two bedrooms, very friendly staff, super comfortable beds and total peace despite the tram right in front of the door and therefore perfect transport connections. There is also a great breakfast restaurant right next door. We really enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and affordable rooms on two floors of an old building (a ten minute walk to the main train station). My room (3.6) even had two, both with beds, and the larger one had a kitchenette, plus its own bathroom and toilet, the windows faced the inner courtyard (no street noise).

Rooms did not correspond to the description at all. Dirty and totally run down. WiFi doesn't work. TV broken. Lady at reception unfriendly. No notice in advance that there was a major construction site right in front of the hotel. Shower doesn't drain. No light on the so-called “kitchenette”, 1 single small. Spoons, all dishes dirty & broken, stove dirty, cooking pots dirty. I strongly advise against booking!

Hotel was perfectly fine for one night. It was clean, fresh towels. We had a room facing the main street and it was very noisy due to repeated police, fire, etc. calls. I wouldn't recommend it for people who need to be well rested the next morning. For party guests to sleep it off, perhaps

It's no longer called Hotel Ark, but Central Inn!Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. Beds and bathrooms are fine. Prices are good. WiFi available. BUT:We booked a four-bed room for three people through Booking.com because we liked the pictures (large desk, dining table, kitchenette). However, we only got a three-bed room for the SAME price with a puny kitchenette and miniature dining table. I had an important meeting at 8am and had to assemble my desk from the 50cmx50cm dining table for 3 people and knee-high bedside tables on elevated chairs. Very frustrating and uncomfortable.Telephone contact very unfriendly. Greets you with: “HELLO?!” and can't speak English. Reception is not open 24 hours as in the description, but only in the hour of your registered arrival. Unfortunately, I arrived 2 hours earlier by train than my family by car and therefore couldn't get into the room. When I asked whether the receptionist could come a little earlier so that she didn't have to come back later, the only answer I got was that we had specified a different time on booking.com and that was therefore not possible. So I waited outside in the cold for two hours. The preparation for the meeting fell through...There is no free parking as in the description, only parking meters that cost €20 a day. When asked if the website could be updated, the receptionist simply said that it was new and could not arrange such a thing.If you're just here to stay overnight, without a car and don't want to cook or spend any more time in the room, this is the right place, but for us it's a bit of a letdown.

Although it's close to the station, it was quite tiring to move around with a carry-on bag. Because the sidewalks are not good. I rang the intercom, but there was no answer, so I waited for someone to come out without opening the door. When I entered, I took the elevator on the left to the lobby. I was surprised that the room was different from the photo when I made the reservation. It's fine just to sleep. It said there was a 24-hour front desk, but when I checked out, the front door was closed and I had to return the key in the mailbox. The walls seemed thin. Nervous people may not be able to sleep. The WIFI connection in my room was slow.

Hell, so please don't book this hotel. Very bad service, no Corona rules, booked rooms are not provided, planned additional services are not provided as compensation. Very dirty, rooms stink, WiFi doesn't work. So not recommended. Unfortunately I can't give minus stars. I'm actually not happy with much, but that's an unreasonable expectation.
