We slept here for 3 nights. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The rooms very clean. Because my partner couldn't perform, I asked the staff for a plate, knife and butter. I also received this, and there are extra stars for that. This hotel is a small hotel near the train station.

Nice smaller hotel in the middle of Bamberg! Great breakfast, very good service. Every extra wish was fulfilled. Many thanks to the staff for the lovely weekend! We'd love to come back.

Our second visit to the nice little hotel, which is within walking distance of the centre. It is possible to park the car close to the hotel (and just outside when loading/unloading). There is also space for parking bicycles + air for any flat tyres.The room is of a reasonable standard, and the staff are friendly and welcoming, especially the breakfast hostess who was in high spirits and a happy touch.Nice breakfast buffet, we especially recommend the small strong sausage and the smoked ham.

The hotel is perfectly located if you are traveling by train, between the main station and the city center in a quiet side street. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city center (island town). The size of the room was fine for 2 people. However, the furnishings are quite old and rather simple. The bathroom was also old and the shower with a completely useless shower curtain caused the bathroom to flood every time. Breakfast costs €12.50 per person - the selection was manageable but sufficient. Since Bamberg is a tourist city, the overnight prices are understandably a bit higher - but I still found them too high for what was offered. If you just want to sleep in the hotel, this one is absolutely sufficient - if you want to spend time in the hotel then look for something else. Conclusion: Great location in a great city - but not really value for money.

The hotel is getting old and seems to be in need of renovation. Single room including sanitary area extremely small and dingy. Staff very friendly and breakfast good and sufficient.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful little hotel. It's a 5 minute walk from the Bamberg HBF, and situated on a quiet street. Our room was great, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was super. ConvenIent location if you plan to visit the Old Town and all the various breweries Bamberg has to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they speak English as well. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bamberg. Thanks again!

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and on the way to the old town. The first breweries are already on the footpath there.I had a double room for single use. The room on the ground floor was clean, but unfortunately also very noisy because the courtyard was used for breakfast and after-work drinks.The bathroom is big enough, but the shower curtain that is constantly on the... sticks, no longer today's standard. Keeping the bathroom from flooding is difficult. The toilet is too close to the wall for taller, stronger people like me.The breakfast was more than sufficient. The staff helpful and friendly.Ideally located as a starting point for our daily hiking tours.

Location very good and quiet. Price is okay.The rooms are a bit smaller, but okay.Unfortunately only one shower curtain in the bathroom.Breakfast was quite solid…But nothing special. The parking lot was a bit away.However, why you pay €20 per night for the dog is a mystery to me...

The hotel is reasonably central. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was rich and good. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished, although the rooms on the ground floor do not face the inner courtyard at all. People sit in front of the windows in the morning having breakfast and in the evening until late at night, smoking and chatting loudly, that's not possible!!! The room number 3 smells like a sewer, unbearable. Sorry, but that's how it is.

At the end of April we were in Bamberg for the first time with the whole family for a wonderful occasion. The first acquaintance with the city was the Hotel Andres, where we spent two nights. Pleasant welcome, quiet ambience, clean and practically furnished rooms immediately catch the eye and remain in a guest's memory. There is also something for everyone at the delicious breakfast. The experience was particularly pleasant with our little dog, who was allowed to be there and was in the care of the friendly staff while we were away. Thank you very much for that and gladly again.

Great little hotel near the city center (10 minute walk). Service very commendable. All the people here are friendly, nice and helpful! Rooms are adequately equipped. Breakfast very loving and delicious! Parking is available but must be reserved in advance. I'd love to come back!
