Disastrous serviceWe were in Munich for a two-day stay and thought we would be relatively safe at a well-known hotel chain that we had already booked in other cities. Unfortunately, that was a fallacy. The confusion began in the parking garage: it was difficult to see where you were actually allowed to park. The room was fine, but unfortunately the radiators in the bathroom looked dirty. However, the service was even worse. After the restaurant was crowded on the first evening and we couldn't get a seat (which of course can happen), we wanted to make a reservation for the second evening. So we called the concierge. The answer: "Yes, that would be okay, you can just come over." However, we didn't want that because we had already had the experience of not getting a seat the evening before. So we specifically asked for a reservation. Then they said: "Oh, yes, that's fine, we'll let the restaurant know."When we arrived at the restaurant at the specified time, there was a sign: "Closed today." When we asked in astonishment that we had made a reservation through the concierge, we only got the answer: "No, that can't be the case, we can't offer you a place." There was no further help, no contact with the concierge, no effort to find us an alternative place - nothing. In my opinion, the concierge team should have known that the restaurant was not available to other guests that evening and informed us directly. That was obviously not the case. Instead, our request should have been discussed with the restaurant. At this point at the latest it should have become apparent that it was not possible and we should have been informed immediately. However, that didn't happen. So the only conclusion that remains is that the concierge team simply didn't take us seriously and didn't process the request at all.We raised this incident upon departure and only heard a "sorry," but without the feeling that the issue was taken seriously. A feeling as if the guest simply doesn't matter.Another small point: the washcloths in the bathroom were removed but no new ones were provided. The area surrounding the hotel is typical of the main train station - as a guest you should consider whether you want that.Overall not worth recommending.

Staff were friendly but the hotel is outdated and underwhelming. Room was very dim and could use more lighting. I would try the Aloft right across the street next time I’m in Munich. It was conveniently located to the train station, though the area is a bit sketchy. I would rate the hotel to be a 3.5.

Deecent hotel, good location to train station. Beds are comfy, bathrooms good. Was left with a bad taste when we checked out and was charged €35 for a double gin and tonic the night before. The bar is a rip off!!!! Avoid unless you have plenty of cash.

The 5 star hotel is located directly opposite Munich Central Station on the south side. Modernly furnished rooms in the typical Le Meridien style. Pool, sauna and fitness are available. Breakfast is rich and also offers Bavarian specialties.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The location is perfect, right in front of the station. Also, the breakfast had a lot of variety and was very satisfying. A convenient hotel for sightseeing.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for travelers. Excellent structure: beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds, well soundproofed. Breakfast with good quality products. Unfortunately, the facility was very poorly managed. …

We had an event here with customers without an overnight stay, so can't say anything about the rooms. But the conference room area and the service there were perfect and I can recommend it without reservation.
