I don't understand these negative reviews, I received a friendly welcome, I was immediately offered a parking space, the room is clean and comfortable.Price-performance ratio fits very well.I'll be happy to come back, thank you for your service.

This hotel is not recommended! Here dogs run around freely in the building and growl/bark at guests. The employee's insolence: she should be left alone.Reception was not staffed during check-in and check-out.The rooms are run down. It smells musty and there were several yellow spots in the bathroom. You can hear everything from the rooms around you. Also other guests going to the toilet. If you book here, it's your own fault.

Unfortunately, 0 stars cannot be given.I booked one night here because I was passing through Munich. The “hotel” is a complete disaster and I have no idea which guest could have left a positive review here! The room is tiny, the carpet - if you can even call it that - totally dirty. The window looks like you're in prison. In the "bathroom" we could only stand. The "shower" was dirty and moldy.A mattress that cannot be described as such. An arrogant, unfriendly owner? Who was unfriendly, a yapping little dog who attacked everyone. The situation was bad. Even if there are many public transport nearby, you either have to walk a long way or change several times to get to the city.I didn't spend the night there anymore but looked for a decent, clean hotel. Therefore my recommendation: give Mariahilf a wide berth!!!

Hardwood floor that makes a lot of noise, one day the power went out and when we called they told us we needed to wait until the next day to have power.

Old building, small rooms, single beds, creaky stairs and floors, carpets that feel like they're 100 years oldPositive: central location, friendly service, breakfast okay, dog-friendly, parking nearby for a small flat rateNegative: Bathroom without ventilation, dirty surroundings, lots of broken glass, hardly any green area for dogs, price level too high,

I spent 3 nights in July at Hotel Mariahilf. I booked a quiet room with double bed. I was given the noisiest room at ground level next to a footpath and busy road with traffic. There were two single beds in it. The bathroom is super tiny and the shower so small I bumped with my arms against the walls. The receptionist was unhelpful and said there is no other room available although I’d booked several weeks in advance. I did not know that breakfast was included and no one mentioned it. My room was right next to the breakfast room from where I could hear every word that was spoken there. The internet connection was weak and dropping in and out. There was no air con. Overall a very poor experience that I would not recommend to anyone.

I don't understand such a low rating...Quite decent hotel. Nice service, spacious room, comfortable mattresses, everything you need in the rooms. The breakfast could be better organized and have more vegetables.

Nice, simple hotel in an excellent location. You get exactly what you booked. Of course you can't expect the comfort of a 5 star hotel, but for the price it is completely reasonable. We cannot understand the negative reviews. The location is first class, the breakfast is delicious and more filling than expected. The proximity to the Isar and the German Museum is great. The rooms are lovingly furnished, but are a bit old. However, depending on the location of the room, it can be a little louder.

Even though it wasn't even really warm outside, it was super warm in our room. Sleeping was not easy with our small daughter. Breakfast was okay, but a small breakfast room.

Older hotel but friendly cosy and relaxed vibe about it with very friendly staff. It was clean and great value. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk into the city centre.Breakfast is a typical German one with cereal and a selection of hams and cheese. We enjoyed it
