I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel am Theater in Schwetzingen. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and just a few steps from the castle gardens. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, I felt completely at home from arrival to departure. My room was very clean, modernly furnished and had a great view of the theater. The breakfast was varied and of high quality - I was particularly impressed by the fresh rolls and the coffee. The WiFi was also fast and reliable, which was very important for me as a business traveler.Overall, the Hotel am Theater exceeded all my expectations. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it!

We did not expect such a high-quality experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness and the quiet location of the hotel. Everything was spotless, and as we were traveling with our baby, we paid attention to every detail that might come into contact with it, especially those that our baby might try to lick. Everything was in perfect order – the beds were just the right firmness, and the bathtub in the bathroom was very comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the family-run restaurant within the hotel. The father is the chef, the mother manages the service, and the daughter assists. As parents traveling with a baby, we appreciated that they immediately offered a high chair and greeted our child with smiles – such attentiveness is commendable. In addition to the standard menu, which spans three pages and features excellent Italian dishes, there is also a daily menu with interesting options. I tried the tagliatelle with sage butter and grated truffle, which was outstanding – light and dynamic. My wife had the penne with veal liver from the regular menu, and it was impressive. Both the penne and tagliatelle were perfectly al dente. The liver was neither undercooked nor overdone but perfectly balanced and flavorful. Overall, the food was excellent and top-notch.For dessert, we had crème brûlée, which was fantastic, accompanied by a garnish of kiwi, fresh local raspberries, and blackberries. Very well done.I am writing this review from the balcony above the restaurant, where they kindly allowed me to take the essentials. Additionally, our baby, my wife, and I felt like we were visiting old friends rather than staying in an unfamiliar hotel. Thank you very much, and we highly recommend a visit.

We had a pretty, slightly gallantly nostalgic room. Great pillows for stomach sleepers! The bathroom was very clean. The few discolorations in the grout lines weren't a problem because the tiles and the entire bathroom were clean! The bed provided for us was a pretty metal bed.The breakfast was very nice and generously prepared with delicious products.

The rooms are basic, but very well maintained. |The breakfast is very good and they will personally ask you to make an egg, or fried egg, or bacon and eggs for you. …
