Super friendly team, delicious and rich breakfast, good transport connections, comfortable beds, simple, spacious and clean rooms with a desk (I even had an extra couch). There is no hotel restaurant, but there is a great Greek restaurant right next door.

The room is clean and the welcome was courteous. On the other hand, the wifi is slow, the room is noisy (neighbor, outside and inside), no pressure for the water in the shower and dependent on other rooms for the management of the water going from boiling to cold and the beds are not comfortable. Considering the pros and cons, I assess the cost is too high vs the quality.

A Decent Stay with Room for Improvement**We recently stayed at this 3-star hotel for a few nights and had a generally decent experience, though there are areas that could use improvement.**Rooms:**The rooms were adequately spacious and had all the basic amenities one would expect from a 3-star hotel. The decor was simple yet pleasant, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. However, the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable. They were quite firm, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The pillows were also quite flat and didn't offer much support. A mattress and pillow upgrade would greatly enhance the comfort level for guests.**Cleanliness:**While the room was mostly clean, there were some noticeable issues with detailed cleaning. Dust was found on some of the room decorations (photo), which indicated that they hadn't been dusted in a while. Additionally, I noticed a spider web in the corners of the windows, suggesting that housekeeping could pay more attention to detail. These minor oversights in cleanliness, although not deal-breakers, did detract from the overall experience.**Overall:**The hotel provides a decent stay, with rooms that are comfortable enough for a short visit. However, improving the comfort of the mattresses and pillows, along with more attention to detailed cleaning, would significantly enhance the guest experience. If these areas are addressed, this hotel could easily become a more attractive option for travelers.

Super friendly staff and a great hotel. Ideally located for a visit by private plane. Oberschleissheim airfield is not far away. The hotel offered us a great shuttle service. We will be happy to come backcome.

Hotel located in a beautiful Bavarian village.The welcome was very friendly. You can park for free in front of or behind the hotel. The rooms are neat and clean and equipped with air conditioning and TV. The breakfast looks good, I didn't try it myself. This costs €15 p.p.There is a restaurant next to the hotel. There is a palace less than a 5-minute walk away.Good place to visit Munich. Drive to Munich by car and park at P&R Olympiapark. You pay €2 per day. And from there you can take U3 for a one-way ticket of €3.90, to the center at the Marienplatz stop. For €9.70 you can get a day ticket for the Metro (U bahn) and you can travel through almost all of Munich.P.s. The Olympia Stadium where the Netherlands became European champions in 1988 is within walking distance of P&R Olympia Park. You have a beautiful view from Mount Olympia.

Unfortunately, I was only allowed to spend 2 nights in this beautiful hotel on business and felt very comfortable from the start. Very nice staff, very clean rooms (even in the corners) and a breakfast that fulfills all wishes. My room had air conditioning, but I can't say whether all rooms have it.There are also enough parking spaces in front, behind and in the underground car park.Another plus point are 2 charging points for e-bikes. Unfortunately, I don't know whether there are charging points for electric cars.Also worth mentioning is the attached Greek restaurant with a beer garden, which also has super friendly and attentive staff and the food is amazing.If I ever come to Munich again, this hotel will be my first choice.

Hello, this is our second time at the Hotel Blauer Karfen and we say just like a year ago: friendly reception,Entrance area with small details such as: fruit, sweets, reading/Information material, also for children. Requests such as a second pillow, topper are fulfilled immediately. Bathroom is clean and has everything the guest needs, room is bright, clean, friendly as well as small amenities. We were in Munich for the Metallica weekend and booked the hotel in Oberschleißheim early on.We felt totally comfortable during the 4 days.There was a delicious breakfast every day, the room was clean and after a quick consultation (because the mattress was too hard for us) we got an extra topper from the second night onwards. 👍In general, everyone in the service was very friendly and attentive; we have experienced much worse in high-priced hotels.The room facilities correspond to the hotel category and there is nothing to complain about, everything worked.What should be highlighted is the excellent sound insulation of the windows. We had ours on the street side, you can hear absolutely nothing!

A beautiful, atmospheric hotel. High-level service. We don't speak German, but the staff speaks perfect English. Rooms cleaned every day. Towels changed daily. Secure parking at the rear of the hotel. Some rooms are themed. We found the Bayern Munich room. I recommend !!!

Rock hard mattress in a tiny room. Shower water runs out, so half the bathroom floods when you shower. Towels frayed at the edges. Breakfast ok. Staff nice. Overall, definitely not enough comfort for the price.

Friendly staff, good varied breakfast, clean rooms, the bathroom hairdryer could use a little modernization and one of the receptionists wasn't too well versed in English, managed to converse with her with my mediocre German just fine but yeah. A bus station is right across the street, a train station is not far away either. Good place to stay overall.

We were snowed in Germany, were saying there for 3 days and it was an amazing stay! The room had plenty of room, the staff was very nice and helping. Glad we found this hotel, recomend saying here!

Located directly at the German Museum, modern and cleanly furnished. Our room was right on the street, which is why we couldn't leave the windows open at night because it would be too loud. Breakfast ok.
