After I was chased through the pedestrian zone several times by the navigation system as there was construction work going on there, I still arrived at some point. The car was parked in one of the two parking spaces and checked in by the friendly staff at reception. With the key we took the elevator to the room on the second floor. Since there was no information about the WiFi anywhere in the room, and I wasn't told anything at reception, I had to go back. Then first examine the room. Spacious, safe available, even balcony. After I found the refrigerator that was advertised, I wanted to leave my water bottle and a pack of fruit salad there. Since the so-called refrigerator was more of a floor-level refrigerator compartment the size of a shoebox and was already full except for a space for a 0.3 bottle, nothing came of it. No matter, there's warm water and the fruit salad will be arrested straight away. Clothes laid out on the chair as it should be. Kippel kippel, rumble rumble. Unpacked the laptop, attached the mouse and keyboard and realized that a glass desk is not compatible with an optical mouse... smart to make something like that out of glass instead of plain wood. It's probably also thought that you shouldn't work there because you should relax. The facility is probably intended more for poets who write with pen and ink... Ok, there is a pad... unfortunately in A5, so it's a very small mouse pad. In the meantime it was getting dark and I thought I could turn on the light at the desk, there is a lamp on the left. But the lamp doesn't have a switch and in 5 days I haven't found a switch in the room that turns the lamp on. To the right of the table there was a floor lamp with a foot switch, which I was lucky to get. The cell phone was now charged, thanks to the USB ports on the desk. It would have been better if there had been something like this on the bedside table so that when the morning alarm goes off you don't have to stagger across the room to get to the desk to deactivate the alarm. Go to the bathroom and shower. Water on, get a cold shock because the water rains down from above and you can't reach the controls without getting something. On the second day I tried to turn on the shower until the water was at operating temperature, but then I had to switch back to the ceiling and there was still cold water in the pipe from the connection to the head. Well, there is shampoo in the bathroom and there are enough towels too. The toilet is either for dwarves or for people who like to relieve themselves at floor level. The toilet paper holder is of course at toilet seat height, so half below and half above your knee when you squat there. Why should you mount the holder about twenty centimeters higher up when you can have so much more fun? Off to bed. The bedside table is about half a meter away from the bed, so you can definitely pull it up...ok, it weighs a ton. The table gets closer, but that's because the bed is moving towards the table. The beds roll very easily in comparison and I almost ended up in the gap because the neighboring bed opened towards the window when I was supporting myself. Watch YouTube a bit more... jerky, jerky loading time. Hm, the WiFi is probably overloaded because everyone is watching...ok it's 11 p.m. on Monday? Then it's probably not because of so many other people. Since the banging from the other guests had now stopped, and they also seemed to be repositioning wobbly furniture in the room, or running on heels, or enjoying skipping rope in the room, I fell asleep. The bed was comfortable and you can sleep well with earplugs. The problem here isn't the high tones, it's the low tones that you hear in the other rooms. In the morning then off to the perfect breakfast. Conclusion: Good hotel with a few weaknesses. Gladly again.
