I don't need to waste any further words on this. The other reviews and the owner's arrogant response to them speak for themselves.

Go to the Schneewitchenhaus 500 meters away: nicer location and normal prices. The Bobhaus restaurant charges ridiculously high prices. €6.80 for a watery cup of coffee that also has dirt under the cup. This restaurant lives on another planet. Reality delusion! We go to Austria several times a year, but nowhere do people dare to ask these kinds of prices.

If you want to order drinks with 4 people, order a glass with 4 straws and it is still affordable.

Not worth one star...it's only there to be able to leave a review here. Prices exorbitant, €12.80 for 1L of water?! We ordered an iced coffee for over €10...it came in a 0.2l wine glass with a hint of ice/cream and the drink was warm. Such a price for such a failure and then the turnstile where we had to throw in a euro for the toilet, we've never experienced anything like that. There is a very attractive restaurant nearby with a fair price, super tasty and of course a free toilet :DAnd please read the previous reviews including the owner's answers, you can't think of anything else.

We were here in the fall, out of season, which is why I can't understand all the seasonal and bad reviews. We ate the cauliflower patty, which was served with potato triplets and salad (important for vegetarians: the parmesan makes this not a vegetarian dish!). It really tasted great and the service was very friendly. We couldn't complain at all.

We were received very warmly, first order was taken quickly.Beautiful spot in a lovely autumn sun.For each toilet visit, 1 euro must be paid, which will be settled at the end.Complicated stuff! First withdraw cash to be able to urinate and then settle the bill again.Husband and daughter wanted to do an activity so granddaughter and I had to wait.Unfortunately, there was no flexibility in having a snack in between. Loose bockwürtst could not be ordered or something like that. to kill time with a snackWe really had to do our best for a second order. The moment of ordering the main course caused some hassle, I wanted the main course without a specific ingredient. This was not possible. Special because it was a separate ingredient and now it ends up in the trash can, which is a shameOur main courses were not served at the same time. Shame.I had high expectations for my main course. Puree with sauerkraut leberkäse and metwurst. It wasn't worth the 21.80.

It's not my style to criticize on Google and if someone had asked me "was everything okay?" when paying, I would have done so that way. The Lord didn't do that, so this way. I agree with the negative reviews when it comes to the pricing at Bobhaus. If you read other reviews that were commented on by the landlord, he likes to argue with personnel costs, the location, etc. And I can understand him well, since Corona, the personnel situation in the hotel and catering industry has been very tense, etc., but: the 0 .33l bottle of Almdudler for >7€, it doesn't fit at the back or front! A lady described it aptly by comparing the bobsleigh house with Alpine piste dining. If I, as a mountain farmer, am snowed in from October to May and host ski tourists there, then higher prices make sense because of storage etc., but the Bobhaus can be easily reached by truck. In the Alps I also look forward to luxurious catering on the slopes, but then please have a fine tablecloth etc.! We like to eat high-quality/high-priced food and also treat ourselves to star-rated gastronomy: I will reward the experience of upscale hospitality accordingly, but I didn't find that in the Bobhaus. If the pea soup costs almost €14 and is admittedly served in an original way, then please with fresh baguette or rustic farmer's bread, but not with dry bread chips from the bag!! Yes, a P2 Dom Perignon costs around €400 a bottle, and the bottle in the Bobhaus is offered for €1,999.80, but that can only be a sign of crude humor... I don't know of any star-rated restaurants that charge similar prices, but that's where they are Ambiance to match the drink. The innkeeper is of course right in his comments: the card is stuck outside the window, I didn't pay attention to it because I had three cold, hungry children and all the bikes to look after, but honestly: why should I expect prices like that? The Bobhaus is a Winterberg piste restaurant like any other, but almost twice as expensive as Möppis Hütte, for example. No, I didn't experience any hospitality that would have done justice to the prices...

View greatThe staff is friendly but the prices are exorbitant. Even the toilet costs 1 euro at 7.20 euros for a 0.5L beer. I think it's outrageous

It's how I deal with criticism, here and in the restaurant, that makes me write!Food expensive but okay and cleverly served! But the handling of criticism of the coffee pot, regarding price and taste, is subterranean! When I was told that it was my most expensive filter coffee of my life, I was asked whether I had traveled far...Even after 3 stays in the Alps this season, I remain/confirm again: The coffee is not good and even in the French Alps it was cheaper, better and - hold on to your guns - FRIENDIER!!!Addendum: This is ridiculous here! It's not about whether I can afford a coffee for xy euros, cheeky! The point is that the coffee was simultaneously the most expensive and pretty close to the worst.
