The hotel is very quiet and modernly equipped. The rooms are of a very high quality and modern standard with a good view. The floor-to-ceiling windows can be opened completely and provide plenty of light. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in every area of the hotel. This is not something to be taken for granted these days and deserves great praise. The restaurant, which looks like a vaulted cellar, can be reached through the hotel park and offers delicious food. The wellness area is also highly recommended and so is the massage. But ATTENTION - what is not recommended at all are the beds.We found these to be extremely hard and uncomfortable. It wasn't possible to sleep well because everything hurt. In addition, the bedding is also very uncomfortable because it seems to be made of synthetic material and you sweat unbearably while sleeping. That's not possible for a luxury hotel like this and it's completely incomprehensible to us how one could compromise on comfort at this point. Therefore, unfortunately only the reviews with 2 stars.

The hotel is in a quiet environment and appears to be newly modernized. At least the rooms are all up to date. There is everything you could want in a hotel: kettle with a selection of tea and coffee, water, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, large work surface, cozy bathrobes and a very nice modern bathroom large open shower. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the garden enclosed by the old castle wall from the room. The breakfast buffet has a large selection and tastes excellent. The wellness area is sufficiently large with three different saunas and a cozy relaxation area. There is also a pool. The employees were all very friendly and accommodating. And all for a very affordable price. Given what the Störmede manor has to offer, we can only recommend it. We will definitely come back.

The review refers only to the restaurant. We waited a very long time before we were even noticed and served. We had to wave to the very friendly waitress three times before she even noticed us. Then it took a long time for the food to come. The quality was excellent, although the pasta with chanterelles was not seasoned or salted at all. I had long since given up asking for pepper and salt. We sat outside near a stagnant body of water which smelled of the hot days, plus the smokers were very disturbing. But that is a loophole in the legislation. Who actually has the right to force others to smoke passively when there are no free tables left to avoid the smoke?
