I wasn't in the hotel, just on the terrace to have a drink. The service wasn't very attentive (there was hardly anyone sitting outside), but it was very friendly.

This was the absolute worst hotel and management to deal with. Dominik “the manager” is not responsive and not on site he is remote. He has the restaurant staff deal with the hotel when they don’t have any authority or ability to help guests in any way. After a long journey to get to Berlin we were looking forward to sleeping and getting a good night rest but the rooms were disgusting, with ripped linens bugs and overall extremely underwhelming for the price. We immediately went downstairs to try and speak with management and were given the run around, after several calls with Dominik he said he would get back to us after contacting his manager, per restaurant staff he is the manager and he is known to be flakey. After several ignored calls he sent an email late at night stating he will not be refunding. Can’t help but feel like we got scammed on this place. We left same night and went to another hotel a few miles down the way in a better location, much nicer, cleaner and accommodating, also was a much better deal for the price. Save yourself the headache and avoid this spot.

We stayed in Berlin for 2 nights in September to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had booked a 2-bed room and a 3-bed room (bed plus sofa bed). …

The food was delicious, but there was a shortage of staff, which made it all take longer.

I had a meal at the restaurant last summer.I paid by card and realised afterwards that the waiter charged me twice with, an apparently wrong operation from the card machine.Later on I contacted them about the matter, by phone and email... Matzbachbasked me to provide a bank statement to prove it, which I did. They never come back to me.Utter dishonesty, to say the least.Clients: be careful.

The food in the restaurant is rather mediocre. Unimaginative menu. Savings of around €2 on the business lunch if you don't take the 0.2l soft drink into account. Some slightly more expensive salads only come with a surcharge of €2. Salad dressing predominantly vinegar.I think it's much better to eat around the corner of the market hall with dozens of offers from the market traders!I didn't give any stars because I don't want to rate the hotel but only the restaurant.
