Even the first look out of the window at the sparkling Thumsee is like balm for the soul. 💦🌿The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming! 🥰 You feel welcome and at home from the first moment. 🏡 The rooms are super cozy and furnished with great attention to detail - everything is really right here. 🛏️🖼️ The cleanliness is also great, you can tell that the team here attaches great importance to a feel-good atmosphere. 💯The breakfast is simply heavenly! 🥐☕ Every morning there are fresh, regional delicacies that perfectly set the mood for the day. 🍳🍇 You sit with a fantastic view of the lake - there really isn't a better way to start the morning. 🌞The location is perfect for nature lovers and explorers. 🌲🚶‍♂️ The Thumsee invites you to swim and relax, and there are countless beautiful hiking trails in the area. 🌳⛰️ Trips to Bad Reichenhall or Salzburg are also possible very quickly - perfect for a varied holiday. 🎶🏰

The recessions are completely the best possible - rightly so.We have already spent a few holidays here and enjoyed them- the sensational location- the great breakfast- the regular afternoon offers fromhomemade cakes and savory snacks- the in-house lawn with a view of the lake and the mountains- the peace and the atmosphereWe are not surprised by the large number of regular guests - we see it as confirmation of our assessment. The guesthouse is run by families and we as guests were warmly welcomed for the second time. The rooms are rustic and clean, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is a dream as a guest you will be surprised with something new every morning. Even in the afternoon there are always lovely little things to snack on. The internet is fast and phone calls are also possible without any problems. The Thumsee can be reached within a very short time. The great garden, which is lovingly maintained, invites you to linger. Holidaying here takes the stress out and offers many activities in the immediate vicinity. The view from the room is fantastic. I can only recommend a holiday here.

We visited this guest house for three days. In a word, fantastic. Very hospitable, beautiful room, fantastic location with a beautiful garden and view and above all very friendly hosts who are always there for you. The place to choose as a base for all kinds of summer activities.

Despite minor improvements (e.g. a closer look at insect removal in some rooms), this hotel is an excellent choice for those seeking relaxation and nature lovers. The proximity to various excursion destinations in Bavaria and Austria makes it a perfect starting point for exploring the region. For example, we have B. the Rupertus thermal baths in Bad Reichenhall or the Weißbach waterfalls in the direction of Inzell are absolutely convincing. The holiday there was a blessing in every respect!

You are speechless when you let your gaze wander over Lake Thumsee and sit in the garden, which has been designed with so much attention to detail. A dream! We spent a week there because of my birthday and just loved it! We would definitely come back at any time!We had a double room with a large terrace and a fantastic view of Thumsee and a single room on the first floor. Both rooms were in great condition, the bathrooms were brand new and very clean. We were received at a very high level! Tiny disadvantages...the carpet...generally we are not fans of carpet in hotels due to hygiene. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning and in the summer it could definitely heat up in the rooms. There is also hardly any cell phone network and very poor WiFi. We urgently need to work on this, as we can't even be reached by phone here. Yes, people always say “you can go without Wi-Fi when you’re on vacation,” but when you’re on call and working from home, that could quickly become a big issue. The rooms were cleaned as soon as you went for breakfast. It was super organized. Bringing food and drinks is not permitted.Breakfast was always lovingly prepared by Dirk, and there was always something different! A great buffet with homemade jam, fresh scrambled eggs or sometimes fried eggs or omelettes. And with a view of the lake you could also enjoy coffee on the terrace.Since there is no supermarket nearby, Dirk and Sylvia provide drinks and snacks for a fee, which you can take away and bring in the kitchen. You then pay this at the end of your stay. In the afternoon there was even freshly baked apple strudel. What a highlight to be able to enjoy this in the garden with a view of the lake and with a cup of coffee! Priceless!It's exactly these supposedly "small" things that stay in your memory and are so special.When we arrived we were greeted very friendly and courteously by Dirk. He and his wife Sylvia (and 2 children) run the guesthouse with their grandparents, who all live there. You are always available and on site for all wishes and concerns. Dirk immediately recognized from my details on the registration form that it was my birthday at that time, and in the morning a decorated seating area in the breakfast room awaited me with muffins, candles and garlands! Wow, what a great gesture! Crazy, I was very happy about it! Thank you again for this, dear Dirk! And generally for your hospitality! We are sure that you will never forget our April Fool's joke that we thought up with Sylvia and Astrid.Sole location, so to speak, dream location, something like that is very rare and very special! Located directly on Lake Thumsee, where you can swim in the summer! Certainly a lot more crowded, but at the end of March it was wonderfully quiet here. Just a few kilometers from Bad Reichenhall, you can explore a lot on foot. A wonderful area in the Berchtesgadener Land. A restaurant “Seewirt am Thumsee” is in the immediate vicinity, 5 minutes on foot.The wonderfully landscaped, romantic garden is private only for guesthouse guests and is a wonderful place to relax and dream!

The only thing I can say negatively is that I only booked 5 days. The location is fantastic, breakfast great, staff super friendly, you really feel very comfortable here.

We stayed at Pension Hubertus on the recommendation of friends. What can I say, we've been back since yesterday and we just miss everything. It was one of the most beautiful holidays I've ever had. Everything is just right here. From the room to the breakfast...We were there for 1 week. Every morning a wonderfully varied breakfast, you can tell that it is prepared with a lot of love. The hosts and the family are great, lovely people who always have an open ear and are happy to advise on excursion destinations... the staff who cleaned the rooms were just as great.
