We ate in the restaurant for the second time and were again very impressed and enthusiastic. The rump steak was tender as it should be. We'd love to come back.

We were there for a quick meal because it was on the way, the interior is nicely decorated and the staff were friendly and accommodating. In my opinion, the food was convenience and prepared in a convection oven, it was okay and I also ate it fresh, worse, so if you like it.

The food tastes good, but there is still room for improvement. The roast pork could have been more tender, the knöpfle could have been fried and the gravy could have been a little less fatty. Gnocci were great. Overall ok. Everything new and beautifully renovated. Good service, quick.

There is no communication in the carriage between the individual areas. Staff only partially friendly.Breakfast was delicious.Rooms were okay, but the price/performance ratio wasn't right - rooms were too expensive!There are better hotels in Hinterzarten.

We were here for dinner, so we can't comment on the hotel. The modern interior was a pleasant surprise. The service was quick, friendly and competent. Our meals were delicious and very well prepared. If we have to get back on the B31, we will stop there

I had a single room, it was very small and very warm. The window could be opened but it was very loud day and night from the very busy street that runs past the hotel.It's hard to think about sleep.Breakfast was very good.

Booked two rooms - got a double room via QR code check in. No contact person, no emergency number - nothing. How difficult can it be to assign a booking? WiFi doesn't work either - nor does the TV. There are three channels to choose from here. Welcome to the service paradise Germany.Addendum: Complained to the only service person in the house in the morning. Answer: not our problem, report it to Booking. There wasn't even a coffee - thank you, we won't be coming back

My wife and I went here for dinner 2 days ago. We haven't regretted a second. Top food and great service. The restaurant is decorated in a doubly interesting way. On the one hand very modern, on the other hand very classic with a clear Black Forest line. The view over the Black Forest is great, unfortunately it was too rainy to stay on the spacious terrace. We will 100% come back on our next stay near Hinterzarten.

Cheap but very nice hotel. I passed here solo on my moped towards Switzerland and I stayed for two days. They have single rooms that are very clean and a delicious breakfast. Another nice detail: there was a smart TV in the room, which was nice after 300km on a moped.In short, recommended!

Great stay! We called last minute to book a room in the evening. The staff were super helpful! The building and rooms are very new and clean. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh coffee and made to order eggs, as well as cold cuts, yoghurt and muesli. The hotel is close to a highway, but with the window closed it is barely noticeable. I can highly recommend staying here!

Unfortunately you can't tell from the outside that this thing is that good. Absolutely positively impressed Ambiente toilets everything was great. Clear menu and nice wine list. Top trained staff. Rump steak with fried potatoes simply perfect. There were five of us and all five were very enthusiastic. Thank you for the lovely evening.
