Rating for the Hotel Golden Gapa in Garmisch-PartenkirchenRecently I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Golden Gapa and I would like to share my positive experience. The room prices are surprisingly affordable, especially for such a popular tourist destination, which is all the more pleasing given the spacious interior design. In my opinion, the rooms are very spacious, which makes the stay particularly pleasant.I would particularly like to highlight the breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of quality and selection. The scrambled eggs are wonderfully prepared, accompanied by tasty sausages, fresh salmon and even grapes. The coffee machine makes hot chocolate as well as coffee, which I really appreciated. All dishes are fresh, especially the crispy, warm rolls. There is also a selection of butter, jam and Nutella available, so no one has to start the day hungry.I rate the atmosphere in the hotel and the friendliness of the service staff 8 out of 10 stars. Overall, my stay at Hotel Golden Gapa was extremely pleasant and I can recommend it to everyone without reservation!

Discovered by chance and was incredibly pleasantly surprised.Unfortunately, we (family with 2 children) were only there for one night, but we will definitely come back.As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a young lady who prepared everything for us without any problem. She was super friendly and accommodating and accompanied us to the room where she gave us all the information we needed so that we no longer had any unanswered questions.After a while I was a bit hungry and asked again if there was anything to eat, as you have to pre-order certain dishes here or alternatively take the daily buffet.My special order was warmly received by the receptionist. The food was incredibly delicious and the breakfast the next morning was made with a lot of love and sensitivity. Big compliments to the chefs, everything tasted very good.The rooms are very cozy and, like the rest of the house, designed with a lot of charm and attention to detail. The view and location are incredible, a real dream reveals itself when you wake up.Parking is available directly in front of the house.We would like to thank you for the incredible hospitality and look forward to seeing you again in this great atmosphere

We spent two nights there. The hotel has definitely seen its best years. From the outside it looks very comfortable. The menu sounds promising, but in the evening there are only two dishes to choose from for hotel guests, which is very disappointing. The breakfast is absolutely not worth the price and definitely not recommended. The rooms were the only thing that was fine plus the nice view.

I really liked the hotel. The view from the balcony was fabulous. We took a room with two bedrooms. The bed was comfortable. Thank you very much for the comfort and friendliness. Free banking at the hotel. Restaurants and coffee shop nearby. Golf. Excellent location.

We went trekking to the top of Zugspitze, but due to snow and rain, we decided to stay in Grainau for a day.The hotel I booked and visited on the same day through the app was exactly like the photo on the app and had a great view.I was able to stay there without any shortcomings, and since it was in the city center, it was a great place to walk around the neighborhood.It was a hotel in the area where I would like to stay next time I visit.

The hotel is located in a small, beautiful and centrally located village in the Alps in Bavaria, close to Zugspitze.The rooms are neat and spacious, the box is large and in Bavarian style. View from the terrace of the highest peak in Germany.Professional, reliable and very nice service.Competitive price.

We spent one night here and everything was good, couldn't fault anything. Our room was on the ground floor, so we had a nice terrace with a mountain view. The room was clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient but nothing extraordinary, we didn't miss anything. The location of the hotel is very quiet and yet everything is within walking distance.

I can't understand some of the comments here. We stayed in a triple room, it was clean and comfortable. There was a coffee machine and a small terrace with a view of the Zugspitze. The breakfast was a bit small but sufficient, in the low season there is generally less going on in Grainau - everyone should understand that and not have arrogant expectations. Overall a nice hotel in a top location.

The 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. But it will be the last. First, I'd like to be fair and say the lication and the hotel are amazing. It was my family's first experience of Germany, Europe in general, actually. There was a misunderstanding from one of my family members about breakfast. She was told breakfast was included. It was not, and it does state that, so I want to be fair. However, the Ukranian man was extremely rude and handled the situation very poorly. He made my family very nervous and intimidated them (mind you, I was not present for all). He was essentially calling them out that, but there was a language barrier. He then got a co-worker to his phone and just handed my family member the phone, not briefing the co-worker beforehand, so it was very confusing for all. In the end, my family was bothered because it could have been handled professionally, especially by a mature person. We paid for breakfast, 13.80 euros for a croissant and a sausage. My family could have stayed for breakfast, but they felt the man hounding over them. One person can make a difference, and since it was my family's first time in country, it definitely did not impress the way it was handled. Good thing that elsewhere people were nice and mature, especially when we spend money. I had high hopes for this hotel, but I can never go back because of the way they treated my family. Good thing is that there are many, many more options.

We were there for 3 nights. The location is good and if you're lucky, you can look directly at the Alpspitze from the balcony.The staff didn't speak German and had very poor English. The reception was not occupied when we left. There were almost no brochures or maps from the region in the hotel - a shame!The breakfast was very cheap. Plastic jam like in a youth hostel. In general it all seemed very cheap. Except for the facade of the house.The rooms were dirty and dusty in the corners. The hairdryer was broken. The beds were not comfortable. The crowning glory was open, unpacked tea bags lying around loosely.The WiFi didn't work!We paid 200 euros for one night without breakfast. That's a disgrace. There is no relationship between price and performance.
