Bedbugs in the room and no help from the hostel. Horrible service and we did not get our money back. Still thinking about contacting authorities about this. I wouldn't call it clean either.

this is the worse Hostel I've been in to. I sent them a message telling that I am gonna arrive between 23;30-00Uhr. they just replied that reception is open only until 21uhr and that check in between 9pm-12am will have to be paid 20€ and 12-1am I have to pay 30€.I replied OK and that I will arrive at the time mentioned above. I sent again 2 messages or email confirming the fee needed to be paid for late check in. and I didn't get any response. I arrived at the Hostel before 12:30 am because of the train delays. Good thing there was a guy before me trying to enter and there was a guest at the reception area who opened the door for us. I didn't receive any further instructions. I was trying to call the number stated here ok bookings and it was out of reach. good thing the guest that opened the door for us has another number. when I called it, the guy just said sorry the reception is only until 9pm. to which I explained my email messages to them. he said he cannot do anything because he isn't available anymore! and that I need to book another hotel. so I confirmed if I'm gonna get my money back and he said he doesn't think so! I was talking further but he just hung up!!!! since it was late I just went inside the room to which it was also clearly stated that it's all women but it's a mixed dorm!!! 2 beds were vacant but they looked like they were used!!!I know I didn't pay that much but this is so much. I am a girl in the middle of the night in Berlin and paid for an accommodation and they just simply brushed me off just because I arrived late to which they clearly stated the fee until 1am but there was no one there to accommodate me. not even an instructions if they weren't here!!and yet they have a score of 8.2 on bookings! and injust later noticed that the reviews are just 4 and written with 1 word!!!! now it's so unreliable!I cannot even write a review!!!

Man, best hostel I stayed at when in Europe, incredibly friendly and welcoming people there. Located a walk from the station and close enough to the city centre to have lime bikes everywhere.

The hostel has a cozy cabin vibe about it, it helped that the day I arrived it started raining once I was inside. :))Staff were nice, and helped me out with local stuff in the area, though miscommunication ensued when one staff member told me laundry was free, and another told me it cost however many euro. Perhaps old mate with trying to give me an All Good Deal.The others reviews are kinda right about the cleanliness, it’s not horrid, but it’s not spotless, it’s an old looking thing, so it wouldn’t be the same without some dust I reckon.We were lucky and got a whole room to ourselves, points for that.Overall, a cozy vibe, I felt like I was back in my parents old villa.

They only clean the back rooms, the kitchen floor daily and the dorm‘s flooring not well, but it‘s low $ and the people, guests & staff are worth it. I‘ve stayed at this hostel several times. They are a blessing & lol I love them!

Super depressing place, nothing like the photos, it seems like it has been left in time.Everything was very dirty, the refrigerators had a terrible smell.It is expensive for the little it offers, the only good thing in relation to the price is the location.No more for 1 night or 2 and just passing through.

This hostel is nothing short of a scam. It seems they only care about pocketing booking money because, after visiting, it's hard to believe anyone would willingly stay here.The conditions of the private rooms, which looked promising in the pictures, were appalling:The room had a foul odor.The bathroom was filthy, with spiderwebs, small stones in the shower, and overall dirtiness.The mirror and sink were grimy.Opening the window exposed bins of garbage, making the smell even worse.There were no lockers for the room door.No keys were provided for the lockers to secure personal belongings.Internet was non-existent.There was no locker for the main door, with the excuse of frequent password changes due to the turnover of guests, which felt insincere.Despite the subway being a mere 10 minutes away, the reality of the hostel did not match the enticing pictures. Be cautious not to fall victim to this scam.

This place is pretty good! You get what you pay for, but for me, that's just enough. Bed, shower, bathroom, washing machine, lockers, for a very cheap price.The host is very nice and there were a lot of other kind travellers when I was there.It's not in the nicest part of town, but there is a subway station 5 min on foot from here that makes the rest of the city very accessible.
