We are totally thrilled, great service, very quiet location, large rooms and a great, varied breakfast at a fair price.

The hotel is very centrally located, but still very quiet. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The beds comfortable. The breakfast is highly recommended and the staff is courteous and friendly. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

The hotel as such is quite well positioned, the mattress was a little hard (but that's my opinion, there are more than enough people who prefer a relatively hard mattress).The staff is very friendly and can give good ideas when asked about activities in and around Cottbus, of course these are seasonal.There is a very large selection of information material right at the entrance to the hotel.The shower head takes some getting used to, but it works, it's something different 😅I wasn't able to find out the technology/tricks in this regard, but I didn't ask either.Dwr refrigerator in the rooms is very good in terms of cooling ability.The rooms are simple but well designed.It was most likely due to the position of my room, so I can only give a subjective opinion, but the WiFi network there was very bad, but as mentioned, it may have been due to the positioning of the room I was in, but still This can be expanded using additional routers and/or reception amplifiers.I just can't give any feedback on how the WiFi network works in other rooms.In itself it is a very solid hotel, which perhaps needs a few improvements (mainly in relation to the WiFi network), but other than that there is nothing that I can comment on.The most important thing, in my opinion, is the service and it was very good. 👍

Everything is very clean and nice there, unfortunately you have to pay extra for fried eggs when you book your breakfast, which I find sad, as the prices for breakfast have generally risen

In September we were in Cottbus for 4 days and stayed in this hotel. We arrived early, I had announced this in advance. We were greeted warmly and were able to park our car in the paid parking lot. We checked in later because the room was only ready then. The elevator was only usable to a limited extent because the stop button on the second floor was broken. The room was big enough and clean at first glance. The radiator needs to be dusted off. The mattresses were much too soft for us. After the first night I had back pain. We didn't use the pillows because we had our own. The bathroom was sufficient for us in terms of size. However, there are only very limited opportunities to put something down. I always think it's nice when there is a bar stool and we had one available here. You should definitely lock the room from the inside at night. There is also a handle on the outside and no knob. One night a guest probably made a mistake with their room and tried to get into our room. Can be very unpleasant.We skipped breakfast and would have had to pay around 12 euros per person per day because we didn't book directly with the hotel. But that was clear to us from the start. We preferred to have breakfast at a local bakery. We don't need much for breakfast.There was a note at reception stating that the rooms were not cleaned daily. That was fine with us. We always say no lately anyway. One evening we wanted to have a beer in the hotel. This should be possible until 8 p.m. The weather was nice for a drink on the hotel terrace. Yes, we were denied that shortly after 7:30 p.m. Apparently everything had already been cleaned. Great. Then not. Service is different.The reception was often unmanned, which is usually not a bad thing. But, here we had the impression that EVERYONE can come and go here, regardless of whether they are hotel guests or not. Nobody would notice if you let something go.For at least 3 days of our stay there was a huge pile of dogs next to the entrance. A very unsightly aspect.It was quiet at night. The location of the hotel is good. It's only a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian zone. And so you can quickly get to different public transport stops. We wouldn't stay here again.
