We are already repeat visitors and will soon be visiting the Bergkristall for the third time. For the first time with children.We were there once in summer and once in winter - both visits were simply wonderful and had their own charm.The Bergkristall has become our favorite hotel because you always feel welcome there. Absolutely every employee in the hotel is extremely committed and helpful. The whole hotel just has a big heart.The rooms and suites we have tested so far have been exceptional. We are looking forward to testing the Spa Suite on our next visit. This is certainly a nice affair with offspring.The spa area itself is small but nice and ultimately offers everything you need. The massages are also highly recommended.We can recommend Bergkristall to anyone who values exceptional service in a luxurious setting with very good food.

We stayed at the Hotel bergkristal for the first time as a couple with our dog in July 2024 for 2 weeks.We found the hotel very nice, all the staff, especially the two junior managers, were very friendly, polite, warm and accommodating in all areas.The SPA area with the large pool ensures a special sense of well-being, where you can find peace again.The breakfast buffet offers everything for every taste, from fresh and organic fruits, fruit and vegetable juices, various types of bread baked with herbs and very friendly service.As for the heart of the hotel, the restaurant, it is excellent in every respect. Home-grown organic herbs, excellent dishes of the best quality, artfully arranged on the plate as a feast for the eyes, accompanied by excellent wines, recommended by a very experienced somelier, make the meal a festive and beautiful experience.The cuisine is enriched by creative drinks and pleasant live music at the bar.The cleanliness. Courtesy, friendliness, warmth and dog-friendliness characterize this hotel and prompted us to book this hotel again in order to have another enjoyable holiday.We can recommend this hotel without hesitation! We are now in the Bergkristall for the 4th time.It was already perfect on the first visit, but they still managed to perfect the experience again with small adjustments. The food is consistently high quality and can compete with a star-rated kitchen at dinner on many days. The opportunity to receive a free consultation if necessary is relatively unique and always pleases me.I find it remarkable that despite financial challenges for the hotel industry, prices have remained relatively the same.With the best will in the world, I can't understand very isolated reviews about prices being too expensive. You get significant value in a warm atmosphere and come back refreshed and happy even after a short stay.

Light and shadow. Nice pool and sauna area. The infusions were great, sometimes forgettable, it depended on who did it. The dinner was good, but only that. Overall, there are much better hotels in terms of price-performance ratio.

Capricious weather in springOn the occasion of my birthday we stayed at the Hotel Bergkristall for four days in March. My heartfelt thanks go to the entire team at the restaurant, who surprised me in the morning with a festively set breakfast table.The weather was also surprising: on the day we arrived we had spring-like temperatures, and the day after there was an onset of winter. - It's a good thing that since the last renovation work, the hotel has a sky pool that's warmer than 30 degrees. As a guest you are prepared for any weather 😄

This was our second time and every time the service from all the staff was excellent. Everyone is just super nice, we felt really comfortable. The 4-course menu in the evening was amazing, but the breakfast, the cakes at lunchtime and the lunch were also perfect. The service employees deserve great praise. Lots of light, but also a little bit of shadowThe SPA area with a great pool and a great sauna area is second to none. Very nicely designed and something for everyone. Saunas with different temperatures and a breathtaking infinity pool with various extras such as bubble loungers or massage jets. There is a berth for everyone and they all have a great view. The only thing you need to know here is that it is also desirable to wear swimwear when relaxing in the sauna area.SPA treatment with Monika Inner Balance was one of my highlights, after which I almost floated. ;-)The food was excellent - for us personally it could have been a little more seasoning (but that's not a criticism). Actually, you can have something to eat all day long if the scale allows it. The meal times line up almost seamlessly. Everything prepared fresh and wholesome. BUT if you order from the alternative menu in the evening you pay extra, which is a shame and a bit unreasonable in this price category.The rooms are well equipped so that you feel comfortable and have an indescribable view. However, you have to decide whether to hang up the bathrobes or towels in the bathroom. But what really bothered me was that the rooms couldn't really be darkened even with the curtains drawn. So when the sun rises - if you're sensitive like me - you're awake. In addition, the curtain in our room was measured to the millimeter and so there were gaps between the already light curtain parts. Overall the nights are too short for me. My wish would really be to improve this, melatonin is released mainly in the dark, causes tiredness and promotes sleep - that should be possible in a health-conscious hotel. You can always leave curtains open if you can sleep in the light, but creating darkness is a little difficult...If improvements are made in one place or another, you can feel 100% comfortable here - but it was already 99% - the team is definitely already uniquely nice!

I can only agree with the positive comments. Beautiful and quiet location. Almost no traffic noise. I recovered very well from the first day.All that remains to be mentioned is the excellent cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

We were here for the second time and were thrilled again. Everything is really incredibly good and at an extremely high level. Fantastic value for money. Hygiene, cleanliness, service, friendliness, food, wellness/SPA/sauna area were all top. The location of the hotel is extremely beautiful with a view of the Allgäu Alps. There's really nothing to complain about and for us, Das Bergkristall is the best hotel of its kind so far!
