The receptionist passed him by. Its location is excellent, close to the center in less than 5 minutes, and far from the central station, a quarter of an hour's walk, but it's easy to walk and literally everything is around you, and its place is nice, away from the noise, and around it is a very small garden.

No doubt worth the money. It's significantly cheaper than other hotels in the area. The location is just perfect, right in the city center and close to all the main attractions.The breakfast is also very good, it's delicious with a good variety of food.

Nice, cheap hotel in a very good location. We arrived at 9 a.m. and got a room straight away. Very hospitable. The breakfast is also very good. 👍 You can also store your luggage at the hotel after checking out. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

We (family of 3 adults) stayed at the Nova Hotel for three nights. The Hotel staff (reception day and night) were most helpful, recommending venues to have dinner, helping us book restaurant, organise limousine to the Airport etc). The room (#301) we stayed in was clean, high ceiling, and with street view. Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea 24 hours. The tram routes 2 and 12 were right near the Hotel. Albert Hejin supermarket two blocks away. Nice restaurants like De Blauwe Hollander and Il Violo are like 10 mins walking distance away. Attractions like Anne Frank House, canal cruise, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam Royal Palace are all within walking distance. The breakfast option was good, clean, tidy and of good varieties. We took tram route 2 to Amsterdam Centraal Station and took ferry across to see This is Holland 5D flight experience. One day we ventured out to Zaanse Shans to visit Windmills and much more and Uber cost about 20 Euro.The only comment I have are:- No aircon in room this need open window. On Fri and Sat nights the street noise can be quite loud until 3 or 4am- price wise the Hotel room stay is not cheap despite it is a three star hotel- the bathroom sink was blocked in 301

Had a great 1 night stay. Rooms and hotel clean, all staff welcoming and extremely helpfull. Allowed us to leave luggage before checkin. Well located to see centre of the city. Travelling with my young son so this was great. Thank you for an enjoyable stay :)

enjoyed our stay here for our first time in amsterdam location was great close to lots of shops and restaurants, staff were friendly and helpful and we had a really good sized bedroom, only complaint would be no aircon in the room, in the summertime it’s a struggle trying to sleep in the heat but overall happy with our stay and will be coming back if we’re ever in Amsterdam

We liked it a lot. The room was clean and well equipped. The Asian employee at the reception gave us a very friendly welcome.Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room, but there was a small table fan.

Very central hotel with a good location to visit the city on foot, close to the central station and other points of interest. The hotel facilities are quite good, as are the large rooms, but the floor carpet is somewhat dirty. The staff who attended the restaurant for breakfast were very friendly, breakfast varied but there was a lack of vegetable milk type products for which we cannot drink cow's milk. The only problem we had was with the person at the reception the day we arrived, as soon as I entered the hotel I approached the reception, he made a bad face, he didn't even get up from his chair and asked us what we wanted, I told him to check in, Without getting up from the chair again, he told me to put the suitcases in the storage room. Once we left the luggage there, I returned to reception. When he saw me, he snorted and in a very rude manner told me that I couldn't check in until 3:00 p.m. when the hotel website says 2:00 p.m. All this without getting up from the chair and with the same we had to go until 3:00 p.m., when we checked in there was another much friendlier receptionist, just like when we checked out.Otherwise we had a pleasant stay

Overall, my stay at Hotel Nova was satisfactory. However, I was disappointed with the customer service. The front desk staff seemed unwelcoming and unhappy. The worst part was having to check out a day early without receiving a partial refund. The hotel directed me to Expedia, who contacted them, but they refused to refund any money. This experience was frustrating and time-consuming, and I feel that my money was unfairly taken. I would not recommend this hotel.

Let's start from the positive note. Very central. Now the rest: incorrect with the details of the services; breakfast was also booked but when you use it they demand payment separately, it says mini bar but if you want you can fill it up, bad smell in the corridors in some even of sewage and the room does not excel in cleanliness.

Perfect location in centre of Amsterdam but on a relatively quiet street. Very good value including breakfast which was quite basic but okay. Building a little tatty but nothing especially bad. Only downside is no air con (which we knew in advance) and weather was very hot when we visited, so room temp a bit uncomfortable.
