In my opinion, this hotel is too expensive, price quality not good… rooms very noisy, water did not drain in the shower tray, breakfast good, but simple.Very messy behind the hotel, this did not give a good impression (visible from the parking lot behind the hotel) the restaurant where dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed was in serious need of a makeover...

Nice and cozy hotel with a beautiful spa.Rooms are a bit outdated but fine for the price we paid. The breakfast was very extensive and the staff in the hotel, café/restaurant very friendly. Free parking in front of the door. We will definitely come back!

Once and never again.Booked through social deal and we fell for it because of all the rave reviews. Hotel rooms above a bar. Very noisy. Lots of mosquitoes in the sultry, musty smelling room. A very dated shower that did not seem very clean. And beds that need replacing. We went straight home the same evening even though we had booked 2 nights. A waste of our 140 Euro.

Staff at reception are very friendly. The room was fine, especially for the price, you shouldn't expect too much, but enough comfort for a good night. The spa is not much and smelled very musty or like mold. The staff at the restaurant across the street is somewhat young and therefore inexperienced and in some cases can be described as bad. Food gets better for the money, but it was really the lack of speed of order taking that let us down. A medium rare steak arrived on my table practically fried and cold... a shame!

Had a great night's stay through Social Deal. The explanation and service was okay, clean room and bathroom. We slept above the wellness, a quiet place. But still quite noisy compared to the nearest neighbors (I think the neighbor tripped during the night and our bed shook completely).The wellness was also excellent, but operating the cabins sometimes took some figuring out. No one could get one infrared cabin to work and the steam cabin worked whenever he felt like it. It could be a little more user-friendly. The other infrared sauna simply has one button.Due to the late checkout via Social Deal, we were able to visit the wellness again in the morning and let ourselves be kneaded again in the massage chairs...Breakfast was fine.Furthermore, we did not use the restaurant but had dinner in the café in Eenrum.Tea bags but no kettle is a bit inconvenient. Taking hot water from the coffee capsule machine is not done, you will get tea with an aftertaste.But all in all a great stay.

*A case of "save my holiday".As far as I'm concerned, service has -10 stars:In mid-September I spent the night in room 11 of hotel 'Waddengenot'. A terrible night. After being kept awake until 11:00 PM by the café below (on a Sunday), we were unable to sleep in the dilapidated room with ditto bathroom. The mattresses had holes (I just couldn't skateboard in them). I ended up sleeping on the floor.The next morning I reported this to reception, there was no excuse. "Some people prefer hard beds and others prefer soft beds, hopefully you still have a nice day."A lukewarm response in my opinion, as it forced me to celebrate my birthday with very little energy and a lot of pain in my muscles.At home I had email contact with Ingrid. You would think that there would at least be a sincere apology, perhaps compensation. But here too, the response was as if the mattress was simply soft and that it was simply a matter of taste. She assured me it had been checked (the next morning, which is of no use to me).I sent an email twice more asking for a solution, but this was ignored.Extremely unprofessional intention.Not only did Ingrid not take the time to write my name correctly and write down a proper salutation, she also kept up appearances and then ignored all subsequent emails.A bottle of something or other, or at least an apology from the hotel, would have been very appropriate.I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel rooms fine. Maybe a little noisy, but not disturbing. Wellness was slightly less. Turkish steam bath and sauna did not work. There was no swimming pool (it was in the photos). Massage chair was good and the other 2 saunas were also ok. But in this state the whole thing should not actually be called wellness. Some improvement is still needed! Breakfast was fine, location for the buffet a bit strange in the corridor of the restaurant but it was otherwise good. Enough choice. Cozy café opposite the restaurant. It said on the internet that it was open until 9pm. But we didn't arrive until 9:30 PM. It was pleasantly busy. Not packed. After fifteen minutes the bartender came to ask if we wanted to participate in a pop quiz. We certainly wanted that. Ultimately came 2nd. Nice prize to take home! Quality good, drinks not expensive. Ultimately 3 stars.

Booked via holiday auctions. This results in a greatly reduced rate. Had an excellent stay for that rate. However, I wouldn't recommend going here at full price. The bathrooms in particular are too dated for that. Clean and a good bed. The staff was also friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Pieterburen itself is nothing more than a street with some houses, no shops. So you are really dependent on food that you bring yourself or buy from the associated restaurant.

A positive review. Rooms clean and tidy, bathroom clean. Quite noisy, but that is due to the people themselves. Nice staff. They really do everything to make people happy. I cannot give a 6 for the restaurant. Very extensive.And tasty.

Very old bathroom that does not fully function, a small room with two single beds that are not connected. Breakfast is very limited and meager, and the tables in the restaurant are placed one on top of the other so that you sit next to each other. Very cold even with the outside door wide open. No staff to be found and a mediocre 6.

Pieterburen consists largely of buildings from the Wadden community. Information could be better, for example to Lauwersoog to catch the boat to Schiermonnikoog is 45 minutes instead of 25. No kettle in the room, only green tea. Reception is friendly but would like more information

We were able to drop off our belongings before check-in because we were going for a mudflat hike. Called about this in advance. When we got back to the hotel at 1810, the reception indicated that they were calling us because they wanted to go home.We received a voucher for drinks in the restaurant.NO welcome drink, only drinks (spirits)Room was good. A coffee machine with cups. Also tea bags, but no kettle. Brown water with bits came out of the device.Once upon a time was fairly new. It took a while before we requested cabins. 1 infrared cabin did not work.However, there was a nice veranda to cool off, accessible from the outside, interior doors closed.Unfortunately the lighting did not work. So very dark.Breakfast was well prepared in the restaurant opposite

When posting this review, it has been just under 45 hours since I sent the email below + 24 hours ago a follow-up email to the reception of Hotel/Hell WaddengeNOT.The fact that there is no response to a complaint within 48 hours says enough about the mismanagement of this Hotel. It is true that they have a monopoly over the village of Pieterburen, but I strongly recommend booking another hotel/airbnb/... when planning a trip to these parts!Good evening,(Short-term) guests from room 12 here. You can find the key to room 12 in the room itself as we will not be present for breakfast and check-out tomorrow morning.Why, you ask?Well: we had planned a lovely quiet weekend away from home to celebrate my partner's birthday. Relax and enjoy.Hotel Wadden “pleasure” had not counted on that. If the greenhouse of a room with stains on the sheets and the lack of air conditioning/a window that can be fully opened had not kept us awake, we would certainly have had the “pop quiz” aka karaoke of the drunks to jolt us out of bed. .It is simply abnormal that a hotel, located right above a café, organizes such parties from 9:30 PM. On a Sunday evening of all! Apart from the fact that we wonder whether all those people don't have to work tomorrow, it is just terrible to have to hear literally every word, every note of music and every beat/bass at 10.30 pm when you want to sleep peacefully.We chose to get into our car now and drive 4 hours (!!!) back to Antwerp instead of lying in bed, stressed and sweaty, staring at the ceiling.I paid €89 for this accommodation, which I am now actually very angry about, because that is €89 that could have been spent on a nice experience.Kind regards
