The Quentin Arrive Hotel is to be avoided! An insane price for a dump! Tiny room, single glazing which lets in the noise from the street (very noisy with the bars) and the cold. Non-existent cleanliness: stained towels, smell of urine in the shower and suspicious puddles everywhere in the toilets which were finally condemned. Toilets and showers on the landing.

The rooms are quite small and the bedding was the same all the way through, the housekeeping left our door unlocked twice, having no private bathroom is not good, but hey it is as advertised, the staff were so helpful and friendly, but despite putting in the notes for a first floor room due to mobility reasons we were on the second floor, very steep stairs, but we had a great time here. Oh and breakfast is available as we were offered it as an option when we checked in.

If you will be to high at the night to take care of anything in the room, then go for it. The location is top.
If you are not a stoner or if you don’t smoke too much, then avoid it. It will be traumatic every time you come back at the hotel.

Super surprised!My partner & myself have just spent 4 nights in this hotel. From the minute we went in the young lady on the desk was so pleasant! I honestly haven’t a bad word to say about my experience at this hotel.When we arrived we had a lovely chat with the receptionist, she explained that the stairs wore quite steep and unfortunately there is no lift but we knew this before booking. We looked at the room we wore booking so we wore aware of the shared bathroom but fortunately for us we wore the only one on the floor so we had the amenities to ourselves which was a bonus.When you arrive at the hotel there is a deposit and city tax to be paid at check in. When we wore checking out we did receive our deposit back straight away (we paid this in cash) so I am unaware as to how people have been waiting “weeks”.The hotel itself is ideal for location and central to everywhere you would be looking to go.The cleaners came in to clean our room everyday while we wore there which was highly appreciated and the toilet and shower room wore cleaner than expectedA lot of really negative reviews but I don’t see what there is to complain about we only spent time in our room when we wore going to bed!!All in all I am so pleasantly surprised with this hotel and I will definitely be booking again soon!

If possible, I could put a -3 star.Horrible!!!The light went out the first night. Afraid, I went to repport to the reception. The guy came and said "at least the TV works!" Which didn't work either. He promissed to send someone at 11pm ( it was about 9:00 pm) Nobody showed up! So we spent 2 nights without light...The place is dirty, the service is horrible and the location is just what it is.Breakfast.... cold fried eggs, cold bacon...Plz stay away from this place

Deposit 100€. I’ll tell you right away - it was returned.When checking in, they ask for a deposit of 100 euros, they give you a strange piece of paper written as a carbon copy that they will return it. We were quite stressed after reading the comments, but no one wrote down whether they objected to the deposit.Don't pay the deposit with a credit card, judging by the comments people have been waiting for it for months, cash only.About the hotel. It was clean, but I wouldn't go back. The hotel is located next to a coffee shop, you won't get enough sleep. All night long cars and people make noise outside the window. We were unlucky, stoned people laughed all night. If you think that your place will be quiet, it definitely won’t be. The hotel is near the center.It was clean, no bedbugs as they wrote in the comments (I looked under the mattresses)

FIRST OF ALL THEY SHOULD MENTION THAT THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE YOU €100 FOR SUPPOSED LOCAL TAXES.THEY WILL SURELY DO IT AT THE MOMENT SO YOU PAY BY CARD AS IT HAPPENED TO US.I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW LONG WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM TO REFUND THE MONEY.It's a place just to pass by quickly. The bathrooms and showers are shared but they were not dirty.The mattress is made of thick sponge.The stairs are very, very small and anyone can fall if they bring suitcases

If you want somewhere purely to sleep and keep clean, this place is adequate.Our room slept three and was relatively spacious. We each had a small bedside table, there was a fan and access to a hairdryer and iron if you asked for it.You are in 10 minutes walking distance to Centraal train station, and many bars and restaurants are a short walk away.For the cons, this hotel is very noisy. The doors slam easily, and the outside street is constantly noisy so if you’re a light sleeper it won’t be easy. The beds weren’t very comfortable, especially the pillows which felt like rubber. We only had one electric plug which I think can be dangerous if you have people plugging in many extension cords. The en-suite bathroom was incredibly small, you had to sit at an angle to use the toilet, otherwise the door wouldn’t shut. The shower ceiling had mould and the water pressure was quite weak.There is no lift, the stairs are narrow and dragging luggage up proved to be a difficult task. If you have limited mobility I would not recommend this hotel.Overall, I would really suggest booking a better standard hotel if you’re not on a tight budget, it is worth the extra money for somewhere comfortable and clean.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Quentin Arrive Hotel in Amsterdam and would like to share my positive experience.I was traveling alone and booked a single room. The room was very clean and well maintained, which is particularly important to me. The shower was wonderfully warm, which was very relaxing after a long day in the city.The staff at the Quentin Arrive Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They were always willing to answer my questions and help me with my concerns, which made the stay even more pleasant.Another plus point was the tap water. It was clean and easy to drink, which is not a given in every hotel. Particularly noteworthy is the hotel's excellent location. It is located just 9 minutes from Central Station, making it very easy to explore the city and quickly get to various attractions.Overall, the Quentin Arrive Hotel exceeded my expectations. It offers everything you need for a pleasant stay at very good value for money. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

They tried to scam us from the first moment. First they ask for an unreasonable deposit for the quality of the hotel (€100). The rooms are in quite poor condition, nothing to do with the photos shown. Furthermore, the reception staff leaves a lot to be desired since even they offer services that are not available such as breakfast and they charge you for them even knowing that the supposed cafeteria where they provide them has been closed for a long time (with cobwebs, in terrible condition and everything). “collected”)We give one star because we cannot give less, since we also felt quite unsafe in the hotel facilities, because you could even open the room door from outside. The glass in our room was broken and you could hear the hustle and bustle of the street at night, the curtains were broken and out of place and we ourselves left the room cleaner than we found it for fear that they would not return our money. bail. Finally, something good about our stay was, in addition to how short it lasted, that the location of the hotel was quite good, a few minutes walk from the station and the city's central square.
