We had our daughter's wedding there on the beach. AMAZING!! Also overnight and breakfast. What a beautiful location and everything was perfect. Recommended.

Beautifully and stylishly furnished dune chamber. Bathroom and toilet are open, no doors in the room. There is a glass wall next to the shower where you can see into the room. You have to get along well with each other to live here. We were here in the 1st week of September. The bus to Castricum only runs during high season. No more from the beginning of September. Taxi 🚕 to Casticum train station costs around €25. Only 2 minutes to the beach, you can take wonderful walks in the dunes. All the people who go to the stand pass by the hotel, including day tourists. That's a lot. We really like it here. Very good for relaxing.

We stayed at Zoomers for one night and had a dune room with a balcony. We had a great view of the dunes and even the sea, the sunset was fantastic. The room was very modern and aesthetically furnished, extremely tastefully decorated. High ceilings, high quality materials etc - everything your heart desires if you like beautiful facilities! Hairdryer, fridge, kitchen with kettle etc. were available and very useful. Yes, the toilet doesn't have a door (although it's hidden in a corner and the shower is so free-standing that you can look at it from the bed, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. If you feel disturbed, you can put the privacy screen in front of the shower glass We were completely satisfied and would love to come back!

We really enjoyed this fantastic place! We had a wedding and decided to book an overnight stay and we haven't regretted it for a moment. The room was beautiful. Easy check-in. Good service. Delicious breakfast and the icing on the cake, located on the beautiful beach of Castricum. We will most certainly come back.

What a fantastic place this is! Beautiful rooms, good beds, nice shower, very nice decor. The (online) service is perfect, as is the cleaning (really spotless). You can walk straight onto the beach from the hotel. Nice beach bars nearby, where you can enjoy delicious food. We enjoyed it so much. We will definitely go back. These three days felt like a week of vacation.

Unique self service hotel in the dunes less than 100 meters from the sea - very nice rooms, high quality interior in scandinavian design. A pleasant place to stay for the beach life.||Very good breakfast in the restaurant 60 meters away overlooking the sea.

Sublime rooms on the water's edge in a building/cabin that is not a hotel. No reception. No check-in. Code locks. No air conditioning. Sea view rooms with magnificent horizon. Lots of restaurants nearby. Small kitchenette in the room. WC with panoramic sea view. Beautiful little cabin in the middle of the dunes. Paid parking nearby. Worth the stopover if the weather is nice.A restaurant of the same group further down the beach can welcome you for breakfast.

I have been to many locations and many hotels, this is really the first! Very nice rooms, very nicely decorated, a very nice and beautiful shop underneath the hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. I had never heard of the town of Castricum until I saw it!It is highly recommended!

We had dinner here this week. We came here a few years ago and we had quite good experiences, especially the food. After all these years it still appears to be the case. They appear to have had a renovation and the aim was for a more luxurious appearance. Personally, I thought everything had become much tighter and smaller due to the renovation, compared to a few years ago.Nevertheless, the food was very tasty. The tuna salad was clearly of good quality and the bread was very nutritious.The employees are also very friendly!! Other restaurants and hotels can learn from the latter. This distinguishes this restaurant from all those other restaurants that are not always good.

We stayed at Zoomers am der See for 5 nights, the hotel is located directly on the water, the small entrance on the side allows you to leave the hotel independently or visit it again. There is an access code at the entrance, which you receive in advance via email, and the same at the entrance door to the room.The rooms are spacious (dune room) and absolutely stylishly furnished, my girlfriend was blown away by the furnishings. From the shower you can take a direct look at the outside world or watch your partner 👀 You have to get used to the toilet, as you tend to sit in the room because there is no door.The breakfast in the pavilion was very fresh, we had a large selection of drinks and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view directly onto the sea was or is unique and contributes to relaxation.Unfortunately, we also had negative experiences with the Zoomers. In our first room, streaming on the TV didn't work, but we had adjusted to that in order to end the evening. In addition, it was extremely drafty in the room because the upper windows could not be closed 100%. In addition, the heating is controlled by a motion detector, so the room quickly became very cold at night. We reported these defects the next morning via WhatsApp (no reception available), whereupon we were given a new room. Unfortunately, the streaming offer on the television still didn't work here. Unfortunately, the nights were a little restless because the mattresses in rooms 1 and 2 are extremely hard. (a matter of taste).Spread over the days, the breakfast was unfortunately too monotonous, it was unfortunately always the same bread, the same ham, we swapped between salmon (which we don't eat and said this on the first day and on the following days) and tuna Unfortunately there were no individual options.On the last evening our code no longer worked and we couldn't reach anyone by phone on the WhatsApp number given or the number on the door. Luckily, the staff were still present in the pavilion and were about to close the shop, so they were able to help us.The Zoomers is beautiful and recommended for a vacation. Nevertheless, one or two things need to be improved.
