It's already been 4 years since I traveled the world.I have stayed in many hotels, hostels, rental houses and traditional houses, but this is the first time I have seen bed bugs.Fortunately, it was before I fell asleep and the hotel desk staff was very responsive in this regard. Thanks to you, I had a great two days. However, when I compared the room I initially booked and the room I was upgraded to, I noticed a difference. The upgraded room had amenities such as soap and conditioner. Maybe the cleaning was sloppy.

My advice is to NEVER ever book yourself into this hotel. It’s a scam! I booked a night stay through booking.com, upon reaching the hotel, it took me ages to get checked in which is understandable as these delays are normal. But what really upset us is that the room that I was given seemed to be a storage room converted into a bedroom..had a very tiny 15x15 cm window on the ceiling & no toilet, it had a below average common toilet+bathroom outside..no Ac, no fan! When I went to the reception to aks why I was given this room as the room details on booking.com never stated all these lack of basic essentials & the type of room to which the receptionist just tried his best to evade the situation, I paid a high rate for the room & was willing to pay extra for an upgrade to a better room with the miracle of having an on suit bathroom but he said that they have non available. I refused to except the stay in the hotel & left to find a better hotel & we did. I wasn’t given a refund at all as their policy was a non refundable one, so in the end I wasted 120 euros for nothing..please stay away from this establishment at all costs.

Filthy bedroom with pubes on the floor. Had smashed glass on the bathroom floor. Clearly nothing was cleaned before i checked in.The door was broken, the ceiling was broken and the mattress was in a terrible state.Super small room with barely any space to get up from the bed.Had to wait 30m for the night staff to wake up and open the door upon my arrival.Would not recomend to anyone. Not even enemies.

Low cost type room. The location is very good, close to the center of Amsterdam. The staff is friendly. The room (105 Euros) was not comfortable (very small) in any way. The bathroom is even smaller and with old and stained towels, they should renew the stock of towels and throw away the old ones. If I return, I would certainly not choose that type of room again. In the photo you can see what the room really looks like taken from the bathroom door with 1x.

Bad bathrooms, especially considering the price.

We had room 210, a very nice double room with a little "balcony" and the perfect view on the pretty houses on the other side of the street. We had breakfast included and unfortunately that was a little bit unorganised but alright. On top you should be aware that they don't have an elevator and that the stairs are very stiff. The Location of the Hotel is amazing and I would recommend it !!!

The rooms are very small and old. We could barely even place our suitcase. It is impossible to take a shower, there is water everywhere. Room cleaning and bed linen change are bad. Even an electronic cigarette was forgotten in the room during room cleaning. It is only kept for its location, but this price is definitely not worth it. Do not stay.

The experience started off on a semi-decent note: the staff on the first day were friendly when my card wasn’t working. But that’s where the positives end. The room was borderline dangerous. The shower only poured scalding hot water, and the doors were literally off their rails. Someone came to check it out but casually informed me they wouldn’t be able to fix it.The following morning, as I brushed my teeth, the doors fell off completely. If I had been in the shower, I would’ve likely been injured. When I went to the front desk, a different receptionist, Nana, was there. I told her about the dangerous situation with the doors and asked if I could have breakfast, assuming I had already paid for it with the room. Turns out, I hadn’t. I suggested breakfast should be complimentary given the hazardous condition they put me in and the fact that I couldn’t shower. This led to an argument, with her dismissively saying, "Fine, don’t pay for breakfast." Her attitude made an already awful morning even worse.
