I love Hotel Not Hotel! Everything inside is crazy and it’s like a trip in a trip :) I spent some days in the Sin City room, with a private bathroom and I really enjoyed the experience :) love all the pics around, the vibes and of course the bar!! Lovely!

The experience was just okay.We arrived very early and had to wait in the lobby area until our room was ready, which was totally fine. Someone came up and told us our room was ready, and we packed up all our stuff to check in, then the girl at the front said that was not true. So we went back to the lobby to wait longer.Then, upon checking in, the girl talked about the breakfast and made it sound like it was included with our reservation, but when we tried to get it the next morning, the girl told us it wasn't. (It's €15 per person, btw, which felt way overpriced).We also wanted to try out the bar in the hotel so we looked at the menu online and then went down to order some cocktails, however the guy told us they couldn't serve liquor and instead only had beer and wine, despite the liquor bottles all over the wall behind the bar? Not sure why they have a drink menu and no drinks.Our room was fine but we were only there for 1 night. The concept is cool, but I wouldn't come back.

Rooms stank and no amount of scent put up helped. There were traces of blood next to the trash can in the bathroom.The concept is exceptional, but unfortunately the condition is unacceptable. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to the hotel

We stayed in the Invisible Room which was completely covered in mirrors so it blended in with the surroundings of this unique hotel with all its unusual rooms. The room itself was really spacious with a cute little window that gave us a peek into the hotel. The bathroom was shared, but we knew that in advance. It was clean and enough space. The breakfast could be a bit better, but the super nice coffee made up for that. Overall a great experience!

we paid for T1 to get another room and when I asked why they were doing this, they answered that it was probably double booked, that doesn't seem professional at all, I paid for the experience, I would get a normal room at any other hotel. It wasn't very clean either.

I was due to stay here and following the most recent reviews regarding the rife amount of bedbugs in this property I tried to cancel my stay. I rung the hotel and asked if the reviews were true to which they confirmed that they currently have an issues with bed bugs. On this basis I told them I would like to cancel my stay to which they offered a refund. Since this phone call, I have found it really hard to secure a refund and infact it has been denied despite themselves admitting to having bed bugs throughout their property.

What a unique experience! We booked the 'room' in the Volkswagen van, which, albeit lacking a private bathroom (as we were aware), was surprisingly well-managed with a clean and organized shared facility. The price-to-quality ratio worked well for us, and we appreciated the helpful staff who guided us around Amsterdam.

Get this bed bug infested place shut down‼️ The people who own/run this hotel know exactly what's going on.. stupidly we never read the reviews.. thankfully we never stayed one night.. asked for a refund.. checked out as soon as we saw them but I'm now petrified we will spread them in our clothing. 😡 The lovely stain on the Campervan matress should have been our warning ⚠️ This is your warning if you're reading this AVOID AVOID AVOID this bug house ☢️

Excellent service and the rooms are very striking and out of the ordinary. The staff speaks English and a little Spanish. You can ask to fill your bottles with water or do it yourself directly from the tap, the water in the Netherlands is drinkable, taps, showers and toilets included.

Hotel has a known bed bug infestation. THANK YOU to all those who wrote a review to give others a heads up. I cancelled my stay and when I tried to get my money back, the property manager denied the request. I was informed that the CHANCE of bed bugs is an unfortunate risk I have to accept as a patron. They are actively denying the issue they have which is poor business practice.

I checked out of this place today and I was initially concerned about the bed bug reviews I saw… I even contacted the hosts in advance to clarify… and today I can confidently say that I believe the issue has been addressed, as my stay was excellent!The place is pure art, every corner is a modern masterpiece. Great location, close to public transportation stations. Depending on the room you choose, you get what you pay for, obviously. I stayed in the 'Invisible Room', which was quite small, but exactly as described when booking. We used the shared bathrooms and were impressed by how clean they were kept, it's clear they prioritize service. I think this place offers different options depending on your travel plans, making it a great spot to stay. I didn't use the bar/restaurant, but it looked lovely and had a great atmosphere... If I return to Amsterdam, I'd definitely come back to this place

We had serious bedbugs here. Woke up at 4.3am to them biting us. The hotel has so far provided no help for this situation after having to go to the hospital due to the extensive bites we have had. Really disappointed do not book here. It’s not worth your time or your health. The rooms foster a perfect environment for these bugs to spread too. They are small dark and have one window which looks into the public space. The hotel needs to resolve this has I’m not the first and won’t be the last.

I booked this hotel in June and have just canceled my reservation as mgmt acknowledges the bed bugs problem. I haven’t gotten any refund for my cancellation. Wrong business practice.
