For this price (+50 euro caucion) is shameless. The room was small like a mouse hole. If it really s.o.s for 1 person, acceptable, but I don't recommend it!

Nothing extraordinary but does a very good job of sleeping, our garden side room was quiet and clean even if the hotel is not very young. We are in town in 15 minutes on foot.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!This is the sister hotel of where we stayed and it is just as bad! Don’t even check in because as soon as you do your stay isn’t refundable no matter what the experience you have. The hotel is extremely dirty and the rooms are horrendous. People smoking cigarettes and weed inside the hotel and the smell of the room are disgusting. Stains all over the carpets and walls. The mattress was stained. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly and there was poo stains in the toilet from the previous stay. The door on our room also wouldn’t lock making us feel extremely unsafe. When we went to receptionist to cancel the rest of the stay she was extremely dismissive and rude. She advised we could stay in another room and when we explained no because it wasn’t just the room which was an issue she refused to refund us. I tried to show her a video I had taken of the hotel and the room but she ignored me and advised she would call me the police if I didn’t leave.

I booked a room at the Aston City Hotel, with check-in handled by the Blossom City Hotel. The room I was given had a strong, unpleasant odor. Although the website advertised free Wi-Fi, there was no internet connection available in either the rooms or public areas of the Aston City Hotel. When I raised this issue, the reception staff told me the only solution was to use the Wi-Fi in the public area of the Blossom City Hotel, which is 50 meters away. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights in a 3-bed room with a full sink.The room was comfortable and correct, it had a window, it was clean and it had a double wardrobe.The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to help with everything.On the main floor there were tables, a vending machine, a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator that allowed you to have breakfast or dinner with something you brought from outside.The day we were leaving they let us leave our suitcases until noon so we could take a weightless tour and take advantage of the morning without carrying so much weight.It is very well located, next to the Heineken, the museum area, the Vondelpark, right in front you can book the river cruise through the canals and the Leidseplein area full of restaurants and nightlife.It is also close to transportation (tram and metro).In about 100 meters there was a supermarket.

Good service, good price compared to other hotels, comfortable bed, tranquility, metro and train station 2 minutes away, the hotel is located next to the Heineken factory, supermarket and restaurants nearby!

The girl at the reception is very kind and helpful. The only other positive note of this hotel is the location, everything else needs to be covered in a pitiful way: the room was already dirty when we arrived, really very small with difficulty moving around inside (and there were 2 of us to a room for 2), Fixtures with cold wind drafts, very uncomfortable mattress and pillows and they were also dirty under the sheet cover. Very short mattress cover, it was clearly not the right size, so much so that more than once during the night we woke up directly on the mattress. But the worst happened yesterday, when during the night other guests bothered us, banging loudly on the door and shouting, and the reception did not intervene until the following morning with the police. I think that in addition to apologizing, we deserved a refund since we didn't sleep a wink. And this type of situation should immediately take action by checking the cameras. I sincerely hope you work on this feedback because if you continue like this you will be out of business in a few years. We can no longer accept such a standard.

The hotel has a great location. This time, we stayed in a triple room on the second floor. The soundproofing was poor, and the room was slightly small. However, the bed linens, pillowcases, and towels were relatively clean. The bathroom had enough hot water with strong water pressure. We spent three nights here, and overall, it was a pretty good stay.

The hotel itself is nasty, since u see from outside also inside. The room for sure is smaller than a jail cell.
They also charge u 50 euros deposit, what can u possible damage is this place to be covered by 50 euros ? The building is already damaged and nasty.

Puritan, small and noisy room. Uncomfortable, soft bed. There is no glass, hair dryer, bathtub outlet. Tiny bathroom. Staff is constantly changing, not a very warm welcome. Never again!

Right on a massive traffic junction. Remarkably quiet inside but beware if you're a light sleeper. Looks derelict and very rundown but actually ok if you're just after a.place to rest after being.out all day.

Vey small room, but that I knew when I booked the room. Not bad at all. I slept at the back side so I haven't heard that much of the traffic. It's Near Vijzelgracht, it's a very very busy point, something you must know before you book. I had a small bathroom to shower, which was super clean. Im satisfied with my experience. Ps next door at Cafe Berkhout you can get yourself an pretty nice lunch.

From the outside it looks a bit shabby. But once you go in everything is fine. Staff very friendly and helpful.Room normal and clean, bed very comfortable but always slipping apart.We were there 6 nights. In Amsterdam everything is so expensive that this is an affordable hotel. On the top floor, we had a great view of the city. Across the street from the hotel you are in the park, at the supermarket, in the city, at the metro and tram. 👍🏻Unbeatable for the price.What I liked most was Cleo the Hotel Hangover.😄🥰We will check in there again.

I am not sure why this place has a bunch of bad reviews. I chose this place because my wife was traveling alone and we needed an affordable, cozy place where she could stay for one single night.I was concerned that it was going to be such a bad experience for us (her, and me, being on the other side of the world), and worried about her security, or even mental health. Turns out it wasn't! She told me the hotel receptionist was very kind and helpful.I don’t know if it was just luck, but she was assigned to a room on the second floor. No noise from the outside. It is indeed a very small room, but good enough for a short stay. I would indeed not recommend this place for a more than 5-day stay perhaps, specially if you are traveling with your partner or with others.The bathroom seemed to be even bigger than the room itself. Clean sheets and a good mattress, she even wanted to take the pillow back with her since it was super comfy! She took the advice of not opening the windows but was not sure if it was indeed true.More than an excellent location, just on the other side of the street of the Heineken experience. It allows you to walk from the canals all through the red-light district to finally arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, or if you prefer, use public transportation. I am not sure if there is a rent-a-bike place close, but that would be another great option!
