We stayed at the Hotel Hanseatic on Norderney for a week. Everything was great from reception to departure. Breakfast was rich, always freshly refilled. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool sufficient and sauna good. Centrally located, everything within easy walking distance. Definitely coming back. Manfred and Doris K. from Ahlen (NRW).

We had a nice big room. Swimming pool and sauna in the house. Unfortunately after 6 p.m. there is no possibility to get anything in the house except from the mini bar. A vending machine wouldn't be bad for snacks and drinks. We had already done some shopping beforehand. Very nice courteous staff. Everything very clean. Animals are also allowed. Located about 1 km from the beach. Free WiFi.

A beautiful hotel that is very centrally located and yet heavenly quiet. We had a very large room, albeit with carpeted floors, a large bathroom with a spacious shower and a beautiful balcony with a view of the greenery. The breakfast buffet was varied and good. There is also a small sauna and a swimming pool for bad weather days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the whole stay so much that we would like to come back next year. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Spontaneously to the North Sea for one night.Warm welcome, a large room and at breakfastthere was everything you needed.Even the “automatic cappuccino” was relatively good!And for “North Sea on vacation” the price/performance is absolutely OK.

I was invited by my employer to go on a 6-day trip. Our destination was the Hotel Hanseatic.Great rooms, great staff, great people at the reception, in the kitchen, in the caretaker service and a very helpful hotel manager. For my colleagues and I it was an unforgettable stay...the bartenders in the other hotels in the Michelsgruppe are also fantastic and always have a quick saying up their sleeves.The shopping options are all within walking distance. It's worth taking the Bömmelbahn.Thank you to everyone involved for the wonderful, unforgettable week at the Hotel Hanseatic.Kind regards from Saxony ☺️

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. We enjoyed the stay very much. We had a suite that was very spacious (202). Our room had a safe, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The coffee was refilled daily. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. A special feature worth mentioning is that there are two breakfast rooms. One room is reserved for guests with dogs. A great idea. The hotel has a good connection to the island's bus network (100m). We would especially like to thank Ms. Paletta, who was always friendly and gave us lots of good tips. We'd love to come back. We were here for a short family vacation with children and dog and were completely satisfied! The suite was great and offered us more than enough space, the swimming pool was great for the children and we also enjoyed using the sauna. Last but not least, the hotel was very dog-friendly. We were also allowed to store our firecracker on the ground floor, really great service. We'd love to come back.

The hotel is already getting a bit old and you can already tell that renovation work is necessary. The room was great and the bathroom with a walk-in shower was just great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and sauna. Since we unfortunately had a rainy time on Norderney, we were able to use these amenities often. The breakfast buffet could be a little better, because we only had the bricklayer's breakfast (Mett) twice during our 7-day stay. Simply not enough for such a hotel.

We, a couple aged 59 and 61, young at heart 😁😊, booked a hotel from the Michels Group last year on a recommendation, our choice, a lot on the "Hotel Hanseatic" - first and foremost we wanted a hotel with a balcony!! I'm a smoker and don't want to stand downstairs in front of the hotel, plus when there's sunshine on the island, it's nice to sunbathe, and let's start with that, all the rooms have balconies!!, that's on the island not a given!! We had a suite, living room, bedroom, spacious shower, and a mega terrace, minibar, coffee machine!!! We were totally thrilled, we didn't expect it at all! We felt very comfortable, 14 days, just great, everyone was very friendly, I'll start with the cleaning staff, I'll say, the green angels 😇, we only have our room cleaned every 3 days, we think that's enough, towels and you can get toilet paper that way too! Now we come to breakfast 🤩, so there is something for everyone here, hot coffee, whoever likes latte machiato, cappuccino etc. tea, normal milk, coffee cream, oat milk, soy milk, O juice, multi vitamin, tomato juice, mineral water with and without, Rolls, types of bread, croissants, etc., scrambled eggs, sausages, eggs....fruit, vegetables, etc. Fish, salmon, rollmops on different days, jam, etc... so if you don't find anything here, sorry, you'll have to go to a five star hotel. And what rounds it all off is Katharina's service 🥰💯, always attentive, sees everything, everything is replenished if something is missing, and with her loving nature it's a good start to the day ❤️, I also want to mention the swimming pool and sauna area, really great when the weather isn't great!!!! Everything was great and tidy, great towels, drink dispensers. And last but not least the reception, thank you both, always friendly, always there, even 🤣🤣 when a package is delivered on the island, in this sense, thanks for everything Esther and Dirk Raabe 💯 ❤️were here for 14 days 🤩👍

We were on Norderney for the first time. We found this hotel through internet research. We were so happy, the few euros extra for the suite was more than worth it. It was really great, a great balcony, huge, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was first class and very varied. The service, the reception, everyone was very nice and dog-friendly. We really liked the swimming pool, as well as the small sauna. It's nice that there are extra towels in the swimming pool. The location is very quiet, not directly on the beach, you have to walk a little, but then you can see more. We would definitely book there again next time if something is available. What we were just wondering: we booked 4 days for the price of 3, why did our dog have to pay for 4 days?

We stayed at the hotel from April 15th to 18th, 2024, in a well-kept double room with a balcony, and were 100% satisfied.Quiet location, very friendly and courteous staff and an excellent breakfast with everything you could want in this category in terms of selection, quality and quantity.Extra praise to the lady who does the service in the breakfast room, really very good!A few laps in the well-maintained swimming pool are also recommended. There is also a sauna, but we didn't use it.We would definitely stay at the Hanseatic again.

It's actually getting old, as described here, but still very good. Large and clean rooms. Nice sauna with swimming pool. Very central and yet absolutely quiet. You don't hear anything from the other rooms or from outside.Good beds and the pillows mentioned here can be exchanged. All in all very satisfied for an acceptable price. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired.
