Great hotel with its own small beer brewery.Staff is very friendly and accommodating, prices are absolutely reasonable for the area. Good selection for breakfast. Gladly again!

We were guests at the Garmisch Hof for almost a week. We had a very nice room on the 3rd floor with a view of the backyard and therefore also of the beautiful mountains. The only drawback in the room was the bed, specifically the particularly hard mattress. We had more and less problems with it. Breakfast was ok, occasionally things were out, the selection was ok. The staff was friendly and gave us good tips for our stay. The location of the hotel in Garmisch is perfect, you can reach everything in town on foot. The parking lot is right behind the hotel and costs €5/night, I would recommend it to everyone.The house is quiet, if you can handle the mattress you can sleep very well. The in-house bar is always recommended for a nice end to the evening.

The service was very unfriendly. When I asked her to offer me a beer - the beer is brewed in this house - she couldn't or didn't want to advise me. The food, spare ribs, was barely edible.

Good hotel. Very tasty and extensive breakfast with very friendly service staff. Staff in the spa and at reception were sometimes a bit grumpy.There are only a few places to lie down in the spa. The steam room and sauna are nice though.

The hotel is in an excellent location right in the center of Garmisch, but without appearing too noisy.The furnishings are a very successful mix of modern and cozy older elements. The cleanliness is good and, true to the motto of the organic hotel, emphasis is placed on it here.Room cleaning can be done on request and the breakfast features regional products.We came as a family with a dog and were always greeted in a friendly and helpful manner!

The restaurant offers Bavarian cuisine in a different way. The Kaiserschmarrn was a little omelet-heavy. The veal schnitzel was excellent.The beer from our own brewery tastes very good and goes well with all dishes.

We booked an overnight stay for the three of us at short notice. The decisive factor for booking was a family room with single beds. Unfortunately the room only had an uncomfortable sofa bed. Out of respect for the other guests at check out and the lack of legitimacy to give the reception a discount, I was initially satisfied with the written note on the invoice and the promise that the manager would get in touch during the day. Unfortunately, no contact was made, all of my calls to reception and many other promises that the manager would get in touch also remained outstanding. The hotel manager should now have 6-7 pieces of paper lying around at his desk to contact me (in addition to emails). If that is the definition of service, as a guest I have no understanding of this hotel. It's a shame that there is no interest in clarifying the obvious defect. The hotel is otherwise clean, the breakfast is even great.

The room and the hotel's furnishings are getting old and could use a renovation. However, the hotel is an ideal destination for guests interested in time travel. The location is excellent with all major attractions and facilities within walking distance. The train station is only a few minutes away. The breakfast is okay, except for the rolls, which are unfortunately just cheap frozen baked goods. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would book the hotel again if the price was right. However, I found the prices in the hotel's restaurant to be exaggerated, so I ate in other restaurants.

Had a very nice stay at this lovely property. Martin at the front desk was AWESOME and everyone who worked there was super nice and accommodating. Martin gave us excellent suggestions for hiking spots and we really liked Ernest the house chocolate lab who hangs out during the day. Location was great just a block from the main pedestrian area and a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was good and plentiful with nice choices for both Europeans and Americans. The room was very large as was the bathroom. The view from our balcony was amazing. It was rainy so having our windows open didn't cause any problems but I can see where it might be noisy if the Biergarten was rocking. My only complaint was about the pillows which were a huge feather pillow that basically went totally flat once you put your head on it. I asked for a second pillow to 'stack' and that helped. Total nit picking and I'd gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I can't recommend the restaurant, the beer and the potato salad were good, the schnitzel for €25 was a breaded, unseasoned touch of nothing, could possibly pass for carpaccio! However, the staff was worlds better than the food.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the view of the Alps is indescribably beautiful.The breakfast was very tasty. Dinner in our own beer garden too. My husband really enjoyed the home-brewed beer.There are even sun loungers with cushions on the spacious balcony/terrace. Great!You can clearly see the sensational view in the photo.The beds are very hard. In the end we were still able to sleep well.Parking is possible behind the hotel and costs around €10 per night.You certainly pay for the view and the organic concept here. Because the clean room doesn't justify the price.Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

I can only warmly recommend the hotel. Super nice service, breakfast left nothing to be desired and the spa area with the sauna was also excellent. The hotel is perfectly located and there is also its own parking space. I'll be back!

Thank you for the short but great time. The hotel is very centrally located, a bit noisy on the street (but it was quiet after 10 p.m.) but the good food and the friendly staff make up for it all. We would be happy to come back.

The restsurant is a disaster. The soup was cold and the broth tasteless. The accompanying Wiener Schnitzel (not cheap) was the worst I've eaten. The breading wasn't crispy and the schnitzel was tasteless. You could only eat the fries. We don't go there anymore.
