We chose this wonderful place and campsite because from here Hamburg can be easily reached in an hour by public transport (15 minutes on foot to the bus stop, 20 minutes by bus, then 20 minutes by train). The reception was very friendly and we were given valuable tips. Everything is very clean! We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back! The town of Jesteburg is also very friendly and worth a visit.

The two of us (both in their early 20s) were traveling north at the campsite for 2 nights with a tent. Price was quite high for a simple campsite without electricity. Reception by the owner very friendly, but his wife was very rude to us (probably because of our young age). The promises on the website regarding early departure by arrangement were described on site as not being possible, as very strict quiet times apply and cars are prohibited on the site outside of opening hours. The owner said paying by card was "no problem", while his wife in the room next door said we should get cash locally because the fees for paying by card are so high. Because of the car ban, you have to park your car in an unlit and unguarded parking lot. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. Overall, the campsite was okay, but I wouldn't visit it again because of the unfriendly handling and the above-average price.

We received a very warm welcome, the sanitary facilities were clean, tidy and lovingly decorated. A large fleet of vehicles and a playground are available for small children. We were able to take the dog for a walk in the adjacent forest. Unfortunately the time slot didn't allow us to visit the bistro - but we'll be back!

Today from the campsite in Jesteburg near Hamburg.I'll start with a hmm. Why? Warm welcome and super friendly. Restaurant Zum Schafchen on the square is warm, great service and delicious. Otherwise: Anyone who wants to stand here with their 2-axle or long 1-axle truck must be able to drive and must not be a beginner. Everything is a bit tight, but that doesn't detract because it's comfortable. The only problem here are the campsite sheriffs. People like to be reprimanded here and camping is the key term herepreservation and not actual freedom. So be careful, there seems to be one behind every corner. There is complete peace here, at least at night and at lunchtime. Have fun for the next guests. Oh yes, the car has to be parked outside the premises because otherwise it will disturb everyone again.

A small campsite in the middle of a residential area. Just a few minutes walk from the center. Very nice operator.Small spaces and the car (we were there with the WoWa) unfortunately has to stay outside. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. But there are only a few showers and some of them are too narrow
