We were there last week and 100% satisfied. Beautiful rooms and attentive hosts. My sudden illness was dealt with in an understandable and considerate manner. The food was very tasty 😋 and we will definitely come back

Unfortunately we cannot recommend the accommodation. The host is friendly and helpful, but there is a complete lack of cleanliness. Somehow everything is sticky and not really clean. We had roulades as part of the HP. As we know, you can't argue about taste, but unfortunately we didn't like it. For breakfast there were really sticky and sliced rolls and lots of flies on the uncovered cold cuts. As already written above, we will not be guests there again.

It was our first time here, but definitely not the last time.The rooms are functionally furnished, it is a country/dog hotel! But everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable!The absolute hit was the dinner as part of the half board. Everything, as far as possible, homemade. Starter soup, main course and dessert. And where can you get wild boar?Everything was very tasty and plentiful.Homemade cakes in the afternoon. The only negative thing is the weight gain if you stay longer.The location is also great, right next to the forest and close to many attractions.

Was there with my dog for 4 days now. It was very relaxing and nice, we felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back.

In June 2023 we spent a wonderful time in the Landhaus Blumengarten. The hotel is extremely well maintained, the rooms were pleasant, and the breakfast met our expectations. The location of the country house also enabled us to go on wonderful hikes, with the hosts supporting us with helpful tips and ensuring that we felt well looked after.We'll definitely come back.

I completely agree with the previous 1 Star reviews. Unbelievable rude service, misplaced sarcasm by the owner as already commented on and probably the worst beds I have ever slept in. Decor is outdated, seems to have been furnished and decorated last about 30 years ago. Wifi does not work. This is a pet friendly hotel, if you can find somewhere else, you wish to do so.

Ideal for nature lovers, Egge hikers with or without a dog or simply for chilling out in a magical corner at the end of the village “Leopoldstal” (part of Horn-Bad Meinberg) is a small family-run country hotel!Only recommended caféon site with a very good selection of cakes or - upon order - also delicious bourgeois German cuisine!👍From here, visitors or guests can go on wonderful trips close to nature in the direction of Bergheim-Vinsebeck, Sandebeck-Grevenhagen or on the Prussian/Lippische Velmerstot (approx. 460 m above sea level).start!!!Leopoldstal has a stopping pointon the railway line “Herford”, “Detmold” – “Altenbeken”!🦅🌸🦋🐝🌺🌻🐝👍❤️Klaus S. Always my pleasure!!! Holidays in beautiful surroundings... The hosts are very familiar and “read the guest’s every wish from the eyes”. Very, very warm hosts! The bonus: Despite fair prices: very good fresh cuisine, hearty German cuisine and homemade jams and homemade cakes!!! Absolutely recommended!!!!

We enjoyed a nice break in the flower garden. In addition to the family atmosphere, the friendly welcome for people and animals and the great location, we also liked the delicious food.The boss knows his craft. In addition to the evening menu, there are of course the homemade cakes that you simply can't resist. Yummy !Luckily, there are great hiking trails of all categories and levels of difficulty. So you can tolerate a little more.Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!
