Have been here for the 3rd time. Always beautiful. Nice ambience, great food, friendly staff and an accommodating boss. You can really switch off here. Keep it up. Would love to come back.

Update 2024: ... in the meantime, for us it's like visiting friends, you feel comfortable and everything fits - just a small but nice hotel with very good cuisine...Update 2023: ... this is the third time we've come here - there's actually nothing to add to what's written below - great house with very tasty food, service that you won't find in some places and then the area... a poem, and a must for railway fans - basically directly on the train and train stop - nothing more is possible, even without a hotel star and wellness facilities, but a lot of original things: black beer and nature and hospitality.A special offer lured us to this nice little historic house in beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean and neatly furnished. The cuisine is exceptional - we haven't eaten something so delicious and varied in a long time, plus the delicious dark "Eibauer"...Otherwise, great service, the boss and all the other employees were always concerned about our well-being - this house is highly recommended!

We booked with a dog and didn't really feel comfortable because we weren't accommodated in the main house but in the coach house. The reception of the WiFi offered was only available on the terrace. Food was okay but there was a lot of frozen food. The furnishings were also quite old (dusty books). The host was friendly but didn't like criticism. We really liked the surroundings as there are beautiful hiking destinations all around

We spent 5 beautiful autumn days in the Teufelsmühle... the breakfast was very good and the dinner (half board) was always very tasty and varied from the 4 options on the menu. The owner was always very funny. The drink prices were moderate. The room was good.... nice view from the balcony. The place and the beautiful area are easy to walk and reach. What we found particularly good is that once you get there... you don't have to move the car anymore The train is right next to it and there are numerous trains and buses in town to the highlights of the area. We'll definitely come back.
