As a family, we decided on Pension Angela at short notice and it was the right decision! Very nice, hospitable, clean and very child-friendly. Very good location in the center of Braunlage with a view of the Bode and the Wurmberg cable car. The ice rink and the cable car can be easily reached on foot in about 3 minutes. The room was very clean and nothing was missing. The breakfast included in the price was prepared with a lot of love and varied.Parking was also available, which was an advantage on a weekend with a lot of guests. We felt very comfortable with Angela - thank you Angela!

You won't receive such a loving and warm welcome everywhere! The guesthouse has simple rooms and a wonderful garden on the Bode, is located in the center of Braunlage and is highly recommended! The guest is king, all questions and wishes are taken into account, and you start the day with a loving and rich breakfast! A big thank you to the friendly hosts Angela and Torsten!

Exactly what I was looking for: a great guesthouse for my short break.I rode my motorcycle about 450 km straight into the Harz Mountains, and coincidentally to Braunlage, for the first time. Since the local tourist information office was already closed late in the afternoon, I found this guesthouse online, called them and, fortunately, got a single room for two days.The very nice hostess gave me a friendly welcome and showed me where to park my motorcycle, the full guest fridge in the hallway (which also happened to contain my favorite beer) and the comfortably furnished single room.I was able to enjoy my time out on a table bench set in the garden.The bed in my room had a comfortable, hard mattress and the location of the guesthouse also ensured a good night's sleep.The only drawback was the somewhat small bathroom unit in the room, but it served its purpose.Every morning in the breakfast room a different, but very tasty and filling breakfast was served at my table.I felt very comfortable at Pension Angela and really enjoyed my time out. The price/performance ratio was also excellent.Maybe it wasn't the only time I was in the Harz Mountains.

We were warmly welcomed into the guesthouse. The hostess is a loving, nice hostess who is always up for little jokes. Breakfast was very tasty and lovingly prepared. We can definitely recommend this guesthouse.

You really can't complain. The hosts are super nice and try to implement all your wishes straight away. The breakfast is more than lovingly prepared and very filling :) The rooms are completely satisfactory. Nothing earth-shattering, but you don't need anything more. Can only be warmly recommended! :)

Really great here. Unfortunately we were in a room that is currently being renovated, the bathroom was a bit small, but that didn't spoil the holiday feeling in any way.Lovingly managed accommodation. Very clean & comfortably furnished, great breakfast. Be sure to listen to gastro tips!Thank you very much Ms. Klein, see you next time!

It is a cozy guesthouse with a lot of warmth and attention to detail. The small holiday apartment we were in had just been renovated and is very nice. The garden is located directly on the Bode and could be used, which was particularly great in the evenings.The guesthouse has a great location, very close to the Wurmbahn and within walking distance of the city. Unfortunately, the outside of Braunlage is getting old in many corners and is sometimes not that nice. But it's great for hiking and it's also not far by car to Brocken.

Great, charming accommodation with great attention to detail. The hosts are warm and always helpful and the breakfast is fantastic!If you value a modern ambience, you're in the wrong place here. The breakfast for 4 people was just enough for 2 people. On the last day you were given the leftovers from the previous day, i.e. 2 thin slices of sausage and a slice of cheese halved, etc. for fourPeople. Price performance ratio is rightnot. Otherwise quite O.K.
