The house is an older wooden house that is lovingly furnished with many beautiful details. Everything was super clean and fully equipped. We spent most of our time in the beautiful garden under the trees on the Oker anyway.The owners are very nice and uncomplicated. We had a fantastic time, would be happy to do it again and many thanks to Ingrid and Baukje.

Uncomplicated stay, everything you need is there. The only drawback: the smell in the lower bathrooms...but very clean.Perfect starting point for hikes.

Nice bed and breakfast with a good location for day hikes. There is free Wi-Fi and a large lounge with a bookshelf. It's great that you can take your dog with you without any problems.

For the second time a midweek in Das Okerhaus. Enjoyed! Every day at 7 p.m. join us for a fantastic three-course dinner. You would come for that alone. Nice spacious rooms and a cozy communal living room. Great breakfast! Climbed and walked Brochen at Schierke. Completely refueled again. Would love to come back again.

We have been to Das Okerhaus for a few days before. It is wonderful to stay there. The food is great and Baukje and Ingrid ensure that you lack nothing. From the B&B you can walk straight into nature and there are nice places to visit in the area. We will come again!

The Okerhaus is a beautifully furnished bed and breakfast with very friendly hosts. What's more, on an idyllic stream at a reasonable price - I thought it was just perfect for my vacation!

Quality, atmosphere, hospitality and delicious vegetarian food as we were used to in Lahardelle at Baukje & Ingrid. But since this year in the Harz Germany, a completely different house but the same experience that we are so devoted to!

Everything was great, as expected. Great location for hiking in the area so you can leave the car parked for a few days. Very nice operators and nothing wrong with the food!to suspend.

The house itself is great, nice size and great layout. The location was also quite okay, certainly lovely in the summer with the stream out the back. Unfortunately it only rained where we were, but there were also beautiful excursion destinations, such as the stalactite cave. But the house is getting pretty old. The floor creaks a lot, the ceiling doesn't look great anymore, it smelled in almost every room, the dishes were dirty, the beds were sagging, one of us got athlete's foot in the shower and the sink in one bathroom came off Wall! A lot of things would have to be repaired and maintained, then all five stars would have been given.

Large holiday home in AltenburgThe house is close to the city center of Altenburg and can be easily reached by car.There are sufficient parking spaces available.The house has 8 bedrooms, several bathrooms with showers, 2 kitchens and two large lounges (living room with lots of seating).There is also a beautiful outdoor area that invites you to stay when the weather is nice.The rooms are clean and tidy, but all the furniture is a bit old (a star deducted for that).The mattresses on the beds are quite soft and a bit saggy.Otherwise there were no problems with reservations, checking in and out and communication with the owners also worked excellently.The prices for overnight stays are acceptable.

I had very nice email contact with the landlord in advance.The location of the house is great, the house looks charming from the outside and the garden with the Oker is fantastic.However, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, hence only 2 stars. The mirror in the bathroom was smeared and the previous tenants' toothbrush residue was still stuck in the sink. The floors and carpets were partly dirty, partly crumbly and very dusty. In the kitchen, glasses and cups were not clean and the cupboards were mixed up and not cleaned properly.I invited friends over for my birthday and was very ashamed that the rooms were so dirty and my guests didn't really feel comfortable.
