The hotel is very centrally located, the staff is very nice. Unfortunately, as a solo traveler, I had a room in the basement with a view of the tires of the car that was parked in front of my room window.Next to the room is the games room with a pool table. The sounds from there could be heard very clearly in my room :(The breakfast was very good and rich. Unfortunately, the (low) parking costs were only mentioned when I left.

Great location and cozy room. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant is also very comfortably furnished. The free access to the thermal baths is also great. There is also a lounge with billiards and games. Unfortunately, the parking lot in front of the hotel is very small.

Booked through the organizer as part of an educational holiday.Staff very friendly, in the restaurant and also the chambermaids, special requests were happy to be fulfilled.Entry to the Bad Harzburg Sole Thermal Baths included, accessible on foot via a small wooden walkway directly from the hotelHalf board in the hotel consists of a breakfast buffet and a choice of 3 courses for dinner, 2 starters and 2 main courses. Everything was very good and very tasty. The half board also included a cake buffet and coffee from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., which we usually managed shortly after our return from the excursion.

Service and location of the house is very good. Room not very big but sufficient. Breakfast is good. The direct and private entrance to the sole thermal baths is also nice. Many other activities can also be reached on foot from the hotel.

The rating is based on a three star hotel and not a five star hotel. There are two hotels that are right next to each other and both hotels have direct access to the brine thermal baths. We stayed there for one night with my six-year-old daughter. The hotel is in a great location if you want to reach everything on foot. From sightseeing cable car, small 4D cinema, definitely worth a visit, fairytale forest etc... to restaurants and adventure hikes, everything is nearby. The direct access to the brine spa via the garden is perfect and you can go straight over with a towel or bathrobe. You should remember the extra towels for the swimming pool, you have to take them with you yourself. The entrance to the brine thermal baths is included in the overnight price. The rooms are very simple and simply furnished, we had a clean room with a balcony overlooking the greenery. You had everything you needed there. The bathroom was clean. The positive thing about the rooms was that the floors were not carpeted. The mattress was neither too hard nor too soft, perfect for us.In the morning we were welcomed by the friendly staff at breakfast. The breakfast was clear, with a small selection of everything from cereal, fruit and scrambled eggs as well as sausage and cheese.Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a short trip.

The Solehotel Winterberg is located right next to the Sole thermal baths and we had a combination offer with use of the thermal baths during our holiday week, a nice thing and highly recommended. The hotel itself has a great breakfast menu and a great games room with billiards, darts, table football and various card and board games. There is enough parking space.Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We spent 3 days or 2 nights in this really beautiful, super centrally located hotel on the occasion of our 10 year old... the hotel was modernized, has a really nice country house charm with attention to detail, especially in the restaurant... the food in this was Very tasty...A good selection of food...finally not just burgers 🍔 but nice, slightly upscale cuisine...Breakfast was also good...a little more selection of fruit or salad could have been included.. .Rooms typically country house style nice but unfortunately actually a bit tight especially in the bathroom...but every wish was fulfilled (extra pillows, allergy taken care of and despite checkout on the last day we were still allowed into the restaurant in the evening)...and with the transition to thermal bath through the garden directly along the rushing water, the holiday is just beginning... beautiful thermal bath... especially the new sauna area... something for everyone... unfortunately only the very pleasant therapy pool, no outdoor pool in the sauna area. ..unfortunately the textile area hasn't changed much...always seems a bit old and dingy, at least the pools and for me as a rheumatism patient the water outside is much too cold...but the massage area is great again...otherwise for one Really nice short break to relax... something to experience for everyone... lots of great options nearby... also highly recommended is the SALZ UND SEELE restaurant at the thermal spa... we'll definitely be back for a few to spend days with you

The bed is a complete disaster! Saggy mattresses and it creaks with every movement. The room is very simple and old fashioned. There is a lot of dust in the corners. The bathroom is small but clean. The mirror hangs very low, unfavorable for tall people. The path to the thermal baths is via the “garden” and is uncomplicated. The hotel's own access to the thermal baths with a private changing area is very pleasant and uncomplicated.Breakfast is okay, not much choice. The location of the hotel is good. Due to the “central” location, you can reach many restaurants and hiking trails on foot from the hotel. There are few parking spaces at the hotel. However, there is the possibility of additional parking spaces behind the hotel.
