Great accommodation to start hikes to and around the Brocken. All the employees are super friendly, the service is good and the food is excellent. The rooms are of a very good hostel standard. I'll definitely come back.

We were there with our club. Nothing was missing. The breakfast is excellent, what is missing or all is supplied later. Everything is very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly Recommended!

The location of this school camp is really great. Located directly on hiking trails, you can discover the Harz. The home itself has everything you need: outdoor football and volleyball, indoor table tennis and table football. Simply furnished rooms, some with shared sanitary facilities, some with private sanitary facilities. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The only downside was the staff and service. On the first evening the buffet wasn't cleared away at all but stood until the morning. Accordingly, there was no water refill for the children, as previously promised. We were then assured of packed lunches, but these were not provided; instead, the children prepared their own food (even though this is not provided for by the house rules). When the rolls were gone, we were told that the children had taken too much, even though not all of the children even made a snack. Reluctantly, they offered to build more rolls, but unfortunately time didn't allow for any more goods. The office is only staffed until 3:30 p.m. and if anything is needed in the evening, the home manager must be called. But there were also very friendly, accommodating staff. All in all, the school trip went well.

Food is inexpensive; Service is terribly bad (bed linen ordered, paid for and not received), annoying children in the hallway (knocking pranks at times when normal people sleep)

Unfortunately I wasn't there, but I have to say the food in the pictures looks delicious. I was at the youth hostel DJH Jugendherberge torfhaus. The food was dry and looked disgusting, but I often walked past this school camp. To be honest, I would rather be there but unfortunately it is only for Hanover

I like to come here every year with our father-child group. Many of our kids are now grown up, the fathers just carry on on their own 😉 The location is of course not a luxury hotel, but everything you need as a group is there. 😀
